It's been a great experience working at NCP Alcohols unfortunately its only a contract position

Water treatment of Metro water Utilities meter readings for steam, water and electricity. Boiler safety checks. Plant checks. Cooling towers daily checks. Friendly and stimulating environment. I have learned a lot about chemical operations.

Pros: It's a best place for entry level in chemical operations
Cons: Limited opportunities

Excellent training programme

Hard work with plesent people to work with. Managed to mix theoretical knowledge and practice everything I know. Being able to work at your own pace making sure the job gets done on time was definitely a perk. Challenges I've encountered was working under strict time frames

Humble beginnings

It felt really great going to work everyday knowing you you going to deal with great colleagues and also facing up different situations everyday which in turn came with so many benefits in a way that you get to learn new things everyday. I have learnt to never stop "persevering" and believing in myself and what I'm doing.

Challenging but fun

It's a friendly but very professional environment. NCP sources only the best to work for them. Everyone is qualified for their position. Staff are friendly and dress is casual. I enjoy interacting people with people across the spectrum. I have learnt so much about foreign trade and consider that one of my biggest assets.

Excellent learning experience

NCP Alcohols Pty Ltd is a great company to work for. I learnt a lot, I've been exposed to different generations of Instrumentation. People are always helpful and we all share a common goal.

Good learning curve

General maintenance, calibration, fault finding, installation and commissioning of various Fisher and Vacon valves, Fisher rotary and sliding stem actuators, Fisher DVC’s with magnetic and mechanical feedback, Rosemount Coriolis, Magnetic and Vortex flow meters, Rosemount pressure, differential pressure and temperature transmitters and Rosemount Radars and Ultrasonic level sensors. knowledge of communication protocols such as foundation fieldbus, Hart 4-20 m.A, Profibus DP and Modbus. Interpreting and drawing P&ID and loop diagrams. PLC installation and programming. Calibration of analyzers such as conductivity and pH. Project scoping and documentation. Knowledge on DCS Delta V. Working in hazardous areas (zone 1 and 2).

Excellent learning curve

I am passionate about my career. I am also a hands-on, self-motivated individual that has an excellent understanding for engineering principles and capable of applying them when required. I believe that the experience I have gained thus far in my career, as well as my willingness to learn, will enable me to make positive contributions towards your organisation.
