Good learning curve
Was a great learning curve. I dealt with all phases of compliance. the exposure was really good. I was exposed to all areas of the business and worked closely with the internal Audit Committee.In the past few years I have worked as a Legal Manager at IC Meer Motala and Company. I relocated to Johannesburg and started specialising in the Compliance and Banking Field. My experience in my career path extends to me having excellent drafting and report writing skills and am thoroughly up-to-date with relevant legislation. I have good communication skills and have worked, trained and reported to EXCO members/top management/line management and staff members. My goal is to continue developing my expertise and this opportunity encompasses my outgoing and determined personality and well as my academically inclined mind set. I believe that I would be a perfect fit for your company and that I could thrive and develop my strengths as your Senior Specialist.

Team work and excellent customer service
I thrive on the organization and I am incredibly detail oriented. My time management is impeccable and I am able to handle a number of tasks at once One of my favorite parts of my current job is in helping my colleagues and ensure that the client get best services at all times I enclose my resume to further elaborate on my skills and work experience. Good learning curve
I started at NBC as a leaner through leanership programme. Have since been working hard and been promoted to Team Leader after 2 years of joining NBC. Then promoted Junior Business Analyst where I had an opportunity to get my Certificate in Business Analysis, and then promoted to Internet Applications Content Manager where i was responsible for the companys website and intranet. I work well in team and individually so. I relate well with all kinds of people. The difiiculties of working in an IT environment comes with stress of systems falling over and users that are frustated, I am fortunate enough to be a calm person who can listen to peoples and help. Have been at NBC Holdings now for a long tome and would like to know what the world has in store for me. I believe i can add value to any company and grow my career.

Learned to be accountable and to be a first time resolution ay all times
I handle daily allocation of work, check claims that are ready for payment before sending them to finance, deal with day to queries and enquiries and produce reports (Weekly and monthly) for companies/parlors who have binders with us. I have learnt is to exercise patience and be empathetic with the client(s) as they are going through a loss of a loved one and to be accepting without having an active response. I enjoy having the knowledge or understanding that I have provided solution, assistance and fulfillment to the client and my teammates. The most challenging thing in this company is working with opinionated people who do not want to be corrected, who take things too personal, who start cursing when there is a misunderstanding instead of trying to find reasons for certain actions, working under mangers who I believe are "bullies" and inconsiderate.

As an entrepreneur there are certain basics that naturally take preference, the clear knowledge of the importance of a client, and the respect for a company’s P&L. As a Managing Director I have a clear and focused vision on operations and lead by example. Exellent learning opportunities
I work as an investment advisor ,so I have really flexible hours My day to day involves me meeting with clients and give them investment advice I have an amazing relationship with my coworkers ,and I enjoy being in the office I have learned a lot about the employee benefit industry I enjoy meeting with clients mostly Commission aspect of my job would be the most challenging part ,I love everything else about it

Relationships built with clients, understanding, knowledge of problem solving, and general industry knowledge. More understanding of Risk Claims in Employee Benefits. Relationship build with Learners from Lesotho. Created a training manual for the learners and assist with training and developing on Risk. Excellent learning curve
Excellent learning curve, had a great opportunity to expand my knowledge of the employee benefits industry. The jnr. Consulting gave me great in site into the trustees the boards and running of the funds.

Proud to be an NBC staff member
Some days are challenging and there is often a feeling of them vs us per each department that you deal with however at the same time there are some really awesome supportive managers and departments that work well together. I have Having more than 20 years of working experience within the Employee Benefits sector, I have developed a strong expertise in customer relations and communication and effective problem solving abilities. I strive to maintain solid relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels and always eager to learn and develop in achieving my personal success. I am a self-starter, independent and methodical worker with the ability to effectively communicate, understand and adapt to people and cultures efficiently. I have the ability to work independently and within a team, and believe in sharing creative ideas to enhance the working environment and processes.

Great Experience
I am assisting NBC staff members with their technical queries, users are setup on Thin Clients, Laptops or desktops. Printer support is provided to users and connecting staff members to network drives that are required to carry out duties. Remote assistance is used to assist users at different sites.
Pros: Learning curve, makes one want to learn more
Cons: Short staffed at the moment so some queries are delayed
