Executive summary

I am the contact point of the Asset and Liability Management division, responsible for the DDG's daily activities. i have a great working relationship with the Chief Directors reporting to my manager and work very closely with them in terms of coordinating work between the Chief Directors and other Divisions and to ensuring timeous closure to requests by setting reasonable deadlines for all the tasks that are logged to the line function and ensuring that the responses are provided to the relevant people on time. I have acquired excellent relationship management skills and I believed that has shaped my personality in a sense that I am able to adjust to any environment. I enjoy working in a team of such strong and intelligent people, the environment is very stimulating it drives you to perform at your best all the time even with a very simple task, competition is very high. The fact that I know everything in my current space is a challenge and limiting for my development hence I need to find a new job.

Learning experience

working at the national treasury has been a dream come true,considering the fact that i am still a student doing my 3rd year.we get to work by 8 am and knock off around 4:30pm. a typical working day will consist of updating spreadsheet,dealing with stakeholders and assisting solving their problems with regards to non-payments from departments.the most thing i enjoy about my work is helping people to ensure that they get paid by respective departments owning them.i work with different people who possess different skills so there is diversity and culture of helping each other because we believe in team work.so far i have learned good verbal and communication skills.

Cons: dealing with bad clients
