Each day is a learning day.
National Treasury is an open plan platform office where it is a welcoming environment, accessible, friendly and a happy environment. My typical day's work include but not limited to ensuring prudent cash liquidity for national government's commitments and prudent management of government's assets and liabilities. My colleagues are open, welcoming and enthusiastic always willing to assist, teach, learn. The hierarchy of protocol is accessible and always there for me to learn new things. I have learnt that teamwork, commitment, dedication, willingness to learn, meeting deadlines, keenness for new challenges are the ones that helps an individual with self-development and career growth. I enjoy each new daily challenges because challenges test my strength, keep me focused, propels me to achieve my utmost goals. The most challenging part is when I have to convince co-workers with great new ideas for change and they become reluctant to adopt change. I believe in creativity and innovation.

Great learning curve
My typical day in the office is fairly the same at the same time of the month. I have days that are very busy and few days that i can set aside non urgent matters to attend to. My relationship with co-workers is good. No fights, helping one another when needed and also on a non work basis issues. I have learnt to understand people, to respect who they are and to try hard to accept everyone with their short comings. I enjoy most the days that i am busy than lazy days. I get more tired an frustrated if i don't have enough to do. The most challenging part of my job is that i need to remember all my deadlines and know the differences in all the reports from different stakeholders even though they want more or less the same thing. Missing a deadline is considered non-compliance. As a result, forgetting a deadline means letting down the whole unit.
Pros: When i started, it was a great opportunity for learning
Cons: Now most things are normal and not as challenging anymore

Excellent leaning cuve
Good day on a day to day i deal with queries from suppliers about their outstanding payments to various departments or entities. most of all the aim is to make sure that all that it is owed to the supplier is paid. the purpose of this division is make sure that small business should not bankrupted and close down. on daily basis i lean to be a good communicator in writing and speaking. what i enjoy the most is witnessing a supplier happy with my efforts. the most challenging part is when the supplier expect us to assist as promised and i am unable to do due that the department is not cooperating to the instruction note.

I am a quick learner
I am an enthusiastic South African male seeking employment in an environment encouraging of constructive change, personal growth, continuous learning and development. In addition I was involved in disposal of redundant computer equipment, scrap and cars. I dedicate my time to deliver quality work under pressure, analysing situations to solve problems and unlock efficiencies at all times, which help me to contribute and deliver accordingly to achieve the organisation's goals. I also bring strong computer proficiencies in MS word and Excel.

EXCELLENT ACHIEVEMENT
I have a good relations clients.I communicate with them effectively.I have improve the supplier relationship by understanding and to learn what they need from me. I make sure I communicate with supplier before the due date of any quiries that are outstanding should I forsee a delay in responding. Meets the expected requirements. I have developed, benchmarks against market prices on bids to compare the bid prices and market prices to enhance value for money. I make sure that I maintain the security, nondisclosure and confidentiality of all information in accordance with all the contracts that are managed. No audit or court finding on the contract that i managed.
Pros: I am a hard worker and I make sure I achieve my objectives at the end of each project that I will be managing.
Cons: i am soft spoken but when I speak, people listen attentively to me because I am good with presentations.

Excellent learning institution
I joined the National Treasury a year and 7 months ago, working as an Organisational Development Specialist. With supportive management, I have learnt a lot and have been given challenging projects to sharpen my OD and Talent management skills. It has been fun yet challenging as I come from an environment where I was given autonomy and employees views were considered. Currently Im a specialist but at times I feel like an admin clerk. I am ready to move to work another company, where Ill be able to excel in my work, be appreciated, respected and trusted to do my job as a specialist. I have good working relationships with my colleagues and I am able to assist in lifting up employee moral within the team

Progressive Learning
I draft a to do list for the day. I have a good working relationship with colleagues since I am honest and considerate. I have learned to work independently and under pressure. I enjoy working with figures, record keeping and wellness of employees, hence, have studied HR, again, am currently studying Business and Office Administration to have an insight of handling matters appropriately and comply with the policies and prescripts and be able to account for mismanagement of funds and fruitless expenditures. There are various tasks that one is delegated frequently and require an analytical thinker as a result one is on top of the game for complex duties that comes with more responsibility and high level of confidentiality.
