Throughout my 11 year career as an administrative assistant and Personal Assistant, I have demonstrated proficiency in all core office administration functions, including document preparation, internal/external communications, data and records management, meeting scheduling, flight bookings both domestic and International, events coordination and task prioritization. In short, I can manage the office without supervision, juggle multiple tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive materials and matters. Through successfully managing both internal and external relationships, I have accelerated the achievement of goals and positioned myself as a valuable resource in a variety of situations.

Excellent learning curve

Is dealing with 20 - 25 orders per day for dispatch to local and National hospitals in SA. Additional to that daily admin attending to visitors and telephone enquirers. We work very well with my co workers. I have learnt how to prioritize my work as the half life of the isotope is very important you don't want to send an expired isotope to any Dr or hospital. I have also learnt how to deal with stress and making sure nothing affect my workload and the pressure of a Dr having a sick patient that urgently need an isotope at the hospital. I most enjoy the interaction and challenge of dealing with different people. Is to not deliver the isotope on time to the Dr /hospital.

Good system support, Excellent system analysis, Analytical thinking, Listening skills

I provide a service to a large group of users who works with creating grants. I manage the system that is used to capture these grants on a daily basis. All system queries regarding the grant are directed to my to attend and resolve. System errors, System functionalities, system enhancement, System training is my responsibility to resolve and make available. Any questions regarding the accessibility of the system also comes to me. In a nut shell. I am the custodian of the Grant Making System.

Pros: I do many things at one and i am resposible for a number of duties
Cons: I sometimes work in the evening and at night

Great learning curve

• Acquire content from HEIs, Research organisations, Professional Associations in order to obtain information for the Nexus databases. • Capture and classify new information received and update Nexus databases (CCRP, Professional Associations) and maintain SANAP database. • Respond and perform Nexus database searches for clients, and referring some to tertiary institutions where applicable. • Assist in compiling NRF’s digitisation inventory lists and creating digital objects using applicable standards. • Assist in reporting and business writing on digitisation & content management issues • Ensure and efficient, effective and proactive Stakeholder engagement - internal and external clients. • Visit NRF Facilities to assess holdings in order to come up with a proper digitization plan and strategy.

Great experience

With over 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry, I have the skills and experience necessary to be a valuable asset to any company. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), and have worked across most levels of the industries (Entertainment, Health Services, and Banking) from grassroots through to senior management. . Majority of my experience is in the banking sector in an Accounting role. I have done financial planning, financial reporting and compilation of financial statements. I have used my Thesis that I wrote for my MBA as a subject to improve systems and processes in my current employment of which most of the recommendations have been implemented and I provided subject matter expert advice and wrote business requirement documentation for the projects. I’m currently employed at SBV services as the National Recons Manager responsible for operational accounts used to monitor and manage cash movements in over 47 sites.

Empowering environment to kick start a career

Being an intern was a great experience; in a typical day, I started by reading and preparing for my laboratory experiments. Most of my time I spent it in the laboratory (lab). Being in the lab gave me great joy as I work on projects and tasks given. Co- workers were supportive and help me push for they best as they are hardworking individuals with great passion for what they do. One lesson from this process is that when you passionate about something no matter how challenging you conqueror through hard work, determination and persistence. I have also attained skills that will help me build my career. What I enjoyed most was working in a team that still allows you to have personal growth and being in the lab working. Challenges faced was time management some experiments took long but with the assistance form the team, I did well.

Excellent Analytical System Thinking Skills

I provide system support to internal and external users. My role is more focused on the following: System Enhancement/bug fixes/Training users/Change Management/Testing/System Analysis and Business Analysis. My co-workers/users/stakeholders refer to me as their go to guy, this is because i have a sympathetic ear and i am always willing to assist. Plus the fact that i have people skills naturally. I am between users and developers as I easily translate users request to developers and consultants. I enjoy fixing queries on my own without involving developers, these are development issues that i can handle on my own, Configurations, System Administration, Testing, Business requirement and System support. I work with different users from different levels and it becomes very challenging as some users can be hard to work with, but i always get relieved when i assist that type of a person and them being happy at the end of the day. I have learnt that communication is very important.

Pros: I am a dedicated worker who also works when am on leave.
Cons: I tend to worry a lot about something that is about to be rolled out to production, i always feel that more testing should be done.

Skilled Administrator with over 5 years of office support experience, currently responsible for providing office support and administrative services to the office of the unit`s manager by ensuring that all administrative processes and the office run smoothly , my other roles include supporting project managers with projects administration and planning on various projects. Liaise and co-operate with provincial departments, national government research organisation, civic organisation, NGO`s, respond to enquiries and e-mails) as well as analytical skills. , collating and analysing data and information received by the unit from provinces to assist in strategic planning and interventions. I am attracted to this role because it significance to my career value chain in terms of experiences and knowledge and I am confident that I will fit well within the position.

Project Management, System development

There is a new system that is going to be used at NRF to conduct all their business processes whereby, when ever you require some information everything will be automated, meaning everything will be kept on a database somewhere. This is innovation of their business processes. They want to move away from doing things manually, they want everything to be online, so right now I am part of that team that is compiling the System Requirement Specification for the new System they want to build. it has been a great learning experience, with the Project Management, Build project management professionalism and enhance organizational project management skills and capabilities. Keep the management team and project management community informed of project management best practices and new development.

Pros: To be zapped in by the development team of the new System they want to implement
Cons: there are no cons, everything is fine except for the salary, I think it should be at least 10000.00 per month not 6070.00
