Excellent Learning Curve

I enjoy the fact that NLSA promotes optimal access to published documents, nationally and internationally; provide reference and information services, nationally and internationally; act as the national preservation library and to provide conservation services on a national basis; promote awareness and appreciation of the national published documentary heritage; and promote information awareness and information literacy. Making Board member's lives easy.learned to compile their packs, Filling, Diary Management , Events Management and SCM procedures on how I can also contribute to reduce Audit Finding in my department and Company as a whole. All staff members are very friendly and helping hand when needed. Fix hours

PERSONAL GROWTH AND SKILLS TRANSFER

Since I've started working at the NLSA from 2013,Feb I've explore, learned quickly and adapted to new skills in a relatively short period specifically on tendering processes. The reason for learning fast was that my Supervisor and the SCM Manager was the leaders not the bosses willing to transfer skills but only to someone who is committed and showing interest on the field unfortunately they were both resigned on the same year 2013 due to greener pastures and that's when I have to carry all their responsibilities including mine without complaining because I've realise that in life they are steps that we need to walk through them before you become something and to take every struggle in life as an breakthrough. The more responsibility the more mistakes, challenges and we grow through those challenges,mistakes because at the end of the day we learn from them. Having support from the CFO and Executives Directors my name is victorious now through their support and courage.

Excellent learning curve

In a my typical workday, I check bank statement for the company and process the payments and money received from debtors, then I do remittances and invoices, and do the processing for payments. My relationship with my co-workers is good, we work as a team and support each and everyone of us. I have learned that working as a team we can do more by exceeding expectations. More responsibilities bring the best out of me, i like the challenging work. The most challenging aspects of the job is when goals are not properly defined.

Excellent For Learning

The enclosed CV indicates the experience I gained in an office environment through NLSA/BCX IT Internship programme. This experience allowed me to gain an understanding of general office procedures and to develop further my excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office. I undertook a wide range of computer work, such as maintenance of ICT core platforms, troubleshooting, word processing, administration and support LAN/WAN infrastructure, Network and security, support, monitoring and maintain ICT platforms. I work well on my own and in a team and am flexible and reliable. My current supervisor commended me on my interpersonal skills and willingness to volunteer for tasks and learn more. I believe that I would be a great addition to your office team and would fit in well with the company’s values. I am a hard worker and committed to developing my skills further and building my career through making a positive impression. I am keen to attend an interview to talk about how I can contribute to the team

Excellent learning opportunities

 A highly competent and organized systems administrator with experience of software procurement, installation, administration & compatibility.  Possessing a proven ability to assist with the day-to-day running of an IT department and its business IT systems.  Extensive knowledge of monitoring and controlling data security within guidelines to ensure compliance and report on possible improvements.  Well mannered, articulate and able to act as point of contact for colleagues and external clients.  Looking for a suitable systems administrator position with an exciting, innovative and ambitious company that offers room for progression.

Learning curve

Working at NLSA is great, we work 08:00-16:30 including lunch, colleagues friendly,extremely nice and clean place to work at.learnt to be confident, confidentiality since I do minute taking, I enjoy to be part of the decision making and the challenge has to be Assets management please not being responsible for their office belongings.
