Excellent learning curve

Working at NDC is fun and really has a room for growh, the environment is good for anyone since everyone is treated with respect. It's stressing dealing with debtors because they don't wanna co-operate and will just swear at times, but remaining calm and listening is what help us come to an agreement at the end of the call

Excellent negotiation skills

I currently posses over 3 year experience in Debt collection and I believe I am suitable for this vacancy as I am exposed to a Call Center environment. New challenges, it makes learning effective and fun

I'm an everyday learner, started as a debt collector who discouraged debt review until I had to sell it to the public through GM3 and 1surance. I enjoy new (currently unemployed as GM3 closed down)

I have a good relationship with my coworkers. I enjoy working for NDC because of their normal working hours. I have learned that in each and every company they practice their own culture.

This is industry has tought me a lot in terms of loans an retail accounts.

I have been working in the call centre industry for 3 years not with two different companies. Working for my company has been an exciting journey where you get yo interact wiyh clients of different cultures telephocaly.

Pros: Less chances for growth

Good place to start a debt colletion career.

Small enviroment with limited learning opportunities. Great colleagues with supervisors and a manager that is dedicated. Working hours are 08:00 to 16:30 monday to Friday excluding public holidays. We collect on old retail and loans accounts that most debtors dispute. In overall the company is not a bad place to work however as a young female i need more and that makes me venture outside of NDC.

Pros: Promotion varies as some people get promoted without any post advertised
Cons: Micro management. Makes it hars to focus and be flexible

New opportunities

My duties include answering and making phone calls to debtors to make arrangements for them to settle outstanding balances on accounts and to follow up on these arrangements . I work a target driven job so I had to make sure my calls and accounts were always on par I have learnt how to work under pressure and how to deal with difficult people and also speed and efficiency all at once. I enjoyed the working hours as they were reasonable but also that management always willing to assist with extra training when needed . Had team leaders on stand by to help when difficult scenarios presented itself but . I really had a good working enviroment but Accounting is really the job I would like to evolve and grow in

Negotiations skills

They taught us well to work under pressure.we under go a negotiations training every three months if not showing any sign of improvement also every month the is a QA meeting for individuals that needs coaching and point out few guidance tips for future reference

Cons: go an extra mile to meet target required
