An Average Work Day

My organisation is a very good one to be working at as we are very "Family" orientated. People know one and other as we all share a close working relationship with each other. We tend to work by the "CHIRP" values: C - Commitment H - Honesty I - Integrity R - Respect P - Participation This makes an average working day a great one. I have played an integral part in the Design & Development of our brand new QMS systems, as I have used the information gathered from my "work" family to create a system that meets their expectations. I carry out Internal Audits on our QMS systems and the relationship that I have with other departments assist greatly in getting their buy in, in order to maintain that improve on processes and policies that are in place.

Covid took away my learning cueve

NNo long there are no longe hours We are treated with respect Covid regulations are adhered to Cafeteria is the best Smoking area Great culture Receptionists are friendly ours

Retrenched

Receive at least -+10 PCB a day which includes printer controller, scanner,power supply, operational panel printed cicuit boards. Using the available facilities which includes reworking of SMD components and soldering irons and following ISO SOP's, and using the nescessary test equipment the boards are tested,repaired retested and returned.

Pros: Few opportunities fo promotion
Cons: Not financially rewarding enough

Awesome company to work for I have worked a Nashua Vaal and Nashua LTD for over 20 years

I travel quite a bit so i am not in the office too much , Nashua has 38 branches all over Africa My coworkers have become friends I have learnt there are many different people in this word and many different religions that you need to respect I enjoy traveling and meeting new people The most challenging aspect is that people are all different and you need to adapt training accordingly

Pros: You manage yourself
Cons: No opportunity for promotion
