Well experiance in manufacturing industry
I I started working at Nampak in 2007 as an Engineering Admin: working with job card, for mechanical and electrical department. I then went to work as a Quality Assurer and I learned a lot there, I got to see where our products start how they are printed etc. I loved the fact that I get to have a hand in making Nampak the best company and making decision that were in the best interest of the company, my next step was production clerk. I was 100% now involved in the quantity, manufacturing on time and in full. it was now my responsibility to make sure that what the customer ordered, the customer must get and it should be in good quality. i went to work for wages department and know i am working with time-cards on kronos, i have to make sure that people get their pay in full and the company is not robbed. I enjoy working with people.

I’m currently working as a Payroll Clerk (Kronos Super user) at Nampak DivFood Ensure weekly shift schedules are scheduled accordingly; Ensure approved leave is correct on time card to Ensure employees clocking import correctly into Kronos, Assist employees with leave submission. Filing pay roll input. i have worked as a production clerk and y daily but not limited duties were Reviewing Production Plans and comparing them with actual quantity produced and ensuring each line has updated plan at all times. Checking of outstanding plate from Tinplate stores, reconciling work order, weekly, monthly spoilage and production report. Scheduling departmental employee’s time card on Kronos. I'm the fast learner, work well in a team, innovative, motivate and motivated by good workers works as a team with excellent workmanship. I've been a shift setter for past 6 yrs I've learned a lot of machinery Through working close with different people of different trade and being observant I've acquired a lot of helpful skillful experience. I'm quick to adjust and blend with all sort of people, I like to understand other first so that I could be understood. I love people I don't mind relocating. I'm honest, dedicated, loyal and fun to work with a family man whose responsible .

Scope of work
I am a qualified artisan with 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. I do preventative maintenence and breakdowns in the plant. I also refurbish Pumps and gearboxes and also pneumatic cylinders.
Pros: Great opportunity to get very skilled

Learning is good
It is a good environment to work ank inive learned a lot especially in my trade. Pay scale is good for me and the working hours are good. It's is not a dangerous place to work in and they provide good training and support

There's growth
Training Monitoring Managing Inspiration of the plant and recording of the findings. Attend to break downs and do standby duties. Attend daily production and quality meetings. Attend monthly safety meetings. Helping production personal with machine settings. Supervising subcontractors. Ordering of spares.
Pros: Training and grooming of employees. Open door policy from top management. Safety is the culture of the business.

Astonishing Learning Potential
k Arrive at work and start my day with the team talks and toolbox talks. After that we enjoy a cup of coffee if the time permits it. I then hand out the days planned maintenance and work load. What I've learnt the most in my time is compassion for people and the ability to work with them .

Excellent learning curve
A work day is very busy and stressful. Relationship with coworkers in my office was manageable. I have learnt how to prioritize and work within time limits, also how to source the best possible prices and suppliers. I enioyed sitting behind my desk and getting my work of the day done and more as well as working with the suppliers. The most challenging aspects of the job is to ensure and maintain quotations, expected delivery of the products and services and keeping the cost to company at a minimum.
