This position matches my skills and abilities and is in-line with my career aspirations
My typical day starts with attending daily production meeting giving overall feedback for the past 24hrs or quality related issues or QA activities and report on trends and any Non-conformities and isolations. My relationship with co-workers has improved over the years and have learned a lots from each department through these meetings and attending customer and supplier SPP meetings monthly which has improved my communication and reporting skills. The most challenging part of the job is to be put under pressure by Quality Inspectors who do not do their work and I always have to produce reports or trends and end up doing some of their duties. I hold a diploma in Analytical Chemistry and currently studying towards a Btech: Quality
Pros: Gained lots of experince and knowledge on quality assurance
Cons: Company talking about retrenchments

Customer complaints, and provide feedback to the customers. Updating quality documents.
I check emails and prioritise my daily duties accordingly. Relation with my co-workers is very good and challenging as well especially when the customers demanding feedback on customer complaints and corrective / preventative action. I have learnt to communicate in a mature and polite manner with different level of people and tried to accommodate and provide requests on agreed time and multi skilling due to demand of work and customer requirements. I have learnt to give instructions to co-workers in order to meet deadlines. I enjoy most being audited by the Third Party, because its where you see your downfall and the new pair of eyes tend to point out the most important things that you ignore daily because you are familiar with them and failing the systems. Production and Technical departments are the most challenging because, I concentrate on Quality and they more focus on the Sales and sometimes they tend to loose focus on Preventative Maintenance and compromise quality of the products.
Pros: Management
Cons: 08:00 - 17:00

Excellent planner,
Nampak is an excellent company to work for. Over the past few years, I have benefited a lot from the company and the company has benefited a lot from me. I work with a team of educated professionals who are all hard working and give their all to fill the objectives of the team. We all work hand in hand to solve issues and constantly communicate with each other to keep everyone up to date. At Nampak learnt to work in a professional team, received insights to higher levels of planning and perfected my management skills I would recommend Nampak as a company to any employee.
Pros: Great working environment
Cons: Currently restructuring
