Great Learning Experience

In 1947 Naledi Foundry Operations was established in the eastern region of Benoni Industrial which is based in the eastern side of Gauteng. Naledi Foundry Operations is one of the biggest foundries in South Africa. Naledi Foundry Operations is part of a 100% black owned group, majority women owned called the Naledi Inhlanganiso Group. The establishment of Naledi Foundry Operations supplies high quality components locally and international markets where they supply to mines, automotive, transport, railway, infrastructure and rolling stock sectors. Main focuses of Naledi Foundry operations is their three operations, which is spherodial graphite, grey iron and high chromium white cast iron. Naledi Foundry Operations believes in a successful close collaboration between the Foundry and the clients to meet a required target of turning challenges that are being faced in the industry into solutions which this always meet the clients’ satisfaction.

Excellent learning for entry level

the company is currently under financial strain and it is not easy as the moral is very down.i have learnt a lot in this industry and I wish I could distribute the information and share with other companies but now I feel like I am limited since I am not learning anymore

Great exposure to the working environment.

Couple of years have been a major challenge financially, no increase for past three years and no bonuses, short times and layoff have been the topic of the past four years including retrenchment. So it has been a tough journey

Pros: Depends maybe which department you work in or who you kno
Cons: Unhealthy working environment, smoke and dust in a while
