My typical day at work is basically a fast paced one were all the staff are on the go most of the day. We are always busy with new customers and servicing our existing clientele on a frequent basis. I do all the admin and driving daily, buying and deliveries. I also deliver customers vehicles if requested. We work in all conditions of weather. I have a fair relationship with colleagues as we are mostly men and we respect each other whether they are just shop boys or cleaners. I have learned a lot with the mechanics side of things and technical side of things as i also help out in the workshop when i am not so busy with my work. I have done basic services on vehicles etc. I enjoyed the fast cars we got to tune and test drive and also the people we meet and connections we built with customers. Also I enjoy the drag racing events that we most of our customers compete in. The challenges are the long hours at times and sometimes have to deal with "touchy" customers.

Working in Automotive Industry

I have gained experience with vehicles as i also did minor repairs and technical stuff. I got to drive fast cars and also learnt the engineering behind petrol and diesel engines. I did sales and deliveries as well. the challenges were to be on the ball and moving up and about and dealing with customers who sometimes were hard headed. Dealing with suppliers who sent delivered wrong inventory and deadlines to meet. The weather also was issue as rain or heat got to mechanics and then work slowed down and delays began.

Cons: growth is limited
