A typical day includes many phone calls/emails from Financial Advisors or respective Senior Portfolio Managers who have issues with instructions that haven't been carried out by relevant departments or claims problems that need to be escalated to higher levels or sorted out by myself. Spreadsheets, unpaids, following up on quotes and cancellations, sending out renewal terms etc. Teamwork is key with your co-workers and I believe that working together in a positive nature creates harmony in a workplace. I have an excellent relationship with my co-workers. I have learnt that all clients are wanting is service excellence and communication. I enjoy receiving compliments on a job well done and recognition. Most challenging aspects of the job is the fact that we (as ground level staff) are inundated with such extreme workloads that one cannot cope without taking work home in the evenings and on weekends. There is definitely not a sufficient amount of staff to do the work needed.

Best training

An environment where one is given the opportunity to learn and excel at what one does.open environment where leaders are approachable. There is a lot of assistance from team members as well as team leaders. Mutual encourage s individuals to study further by making their insurance bursary accessible to all employees and provide for in house train ERS to assist with studies. Employees are always aware of what the company values are and the is transparency.

I am hard working and dedicated and push beyond my bounderies

I get along very well with people - call me a people's person. I've learnt responsibility, independence, dedication, hard work does pay off. Pushing and working towards a goal is a character I've also adapted making things worth working towards.

Excellent opportunity to learn and grow and expand my knowledge

A typical day at Mutual and Federal, is like being at home everyday. I enjoy the culture there is always a lot of activity, a lot happening in terms of things like career day, and training etc. mutual and federal is interested in growth for each employee. typical day with co workers is fun and interesting and always a learning experience i have learnt gratitude most of all and humanity and discipline the most challenging part of my job is irate clients

Manage the performance standards and turnaround times for the Broker Service Consultants. Manage the productivity of staff in terms of work volumes. Manage the quote to conversion ratio. Check and verify risk class codes.
