Excellent learning and unstructured working environment

Dear Sir/ Madam I would like to focus your attention on the following details. I have solid 4 years experiences working for MTN SA where I am holding position of BI Developer. I got skills and experiences on the following but not limited to; scripture writing skill (SQL); report automating (using Excel Power pivot tool), trends analysis and investigative analysing, data mining, dashboard building on both Oracle BI and Qlikview, etc. I have gained exceptional skills in working close clients and also developed a strong ability to communicate, motivate, and assist teammate in their jobs. I believe those qualities shall contribute significantly to the success of your company. I have recently completed Postgraduate Diploma in Management with Wits Business School and managing to obtain three distinctions in financial management, Analytic Decision Making, Technology and Information management. I believe that I'm faster and agile learner who enjoys challenges in the quantitative field.

Continuous learning

I have a vast experience in administration, sales support and customer service as well as skills within the administration field, I have also completed a Learnership program with SETA and Vodacom which afforded me an opportunity to have Business Administration NQF Level 4 certificate, this enabled me to receive exposure to a vast variety of clients from different industries and companies. My work as a Sales Support administrator at Vodacom and MTN has afforded me an opportunity to develop excellent interpersonal and administrative skills, attention to detail, including identifying problems, listening skills, telephone etiquette, facilitating decision making, negotiation and handling conflict situations.I have completed additional computer training courses in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Outlook, and Internet Explorer also I consider myself to be proficient in these packages under Microsoft 2007.

1st Line Support

Please note that I have 3 years working experience working Support ISP department with MTN Business, currently I am on a progress to complete my MCSA which I am remaining with one more exam to write. Currently I work as a 1st line Network technician whereby I do direct communications with clients (telephonic or email), direct communication with vendors, troubleshoot a WAN network fault, escalate faults when necessary. I believe that I am a best candidate for this position because I am used to working in a large organization resolving variety of clients faults (e.g line down, packet loss / latency, basic configuration). Variety of client experience different faults on daily basis and this gave me a good experience if meeting a client's SLA, work under high pressure, good customer service, good verbal and nun-verbal communication skills.

Excellent learning work experience

We work as a team and able to work under pressure, encourages self motivation and commitment to your work,I've also learned that honesty is the key to good team performance. I enjoy helping customers with their Rica, Porting and selling airtime. The most challenging part is to finding a customer that doesn't know about Xtra time and think you didn't sell the airtime

Learning

It’s a great experience working there but earning a litttle for what did. It will be great if we were granted benefit and got a permanent job after so many years work at mtn as a year on going contractor by know.

Excellent place for growth in your career.

Get clients internet lines restored and working depending on the scenario. Everyday you learn a new skill as I.T is ever evolving. Working with people is one of my strengths and have more knowledge with network equipment seeing that they host Cisco, Juniper and Hp routers and switches. I enjoy body building and would like to use it to enjoy a better diet plan. I tackle all tasks at hand with ease.

Pros: Great hours and the atmosphere is good.
Cons: Working on weekends
