I have learned alot in this field
doing to the job that is soppose to be done by 4 people but the company is not employing as I am also on the contract for 5 years now with them and when I am acting as Manager I do not get paid for it,i have a good working relationship with my co-workers as I am willing to listen to what are their views with regards to the job we do and whist I am doing that I learn a lot since I am not physically working on site but planning and designing and managing their work.
Pros: i can not get promoted as i am on contract i must work to get a permanent joib first and my company is not employing or advertising anything
Cons: i work long hours for no pay all the time, i work sometimes upto 10:00pm

I have learnt a lot
I have to work on 4 jobs at once while getting paid for 1 and I have to work over night for no pay since im not permanent and act as Manager for the section at no pay, I have a very good relationship with my co-workers since I am willing to listen to them when we do morning meetings as I am not physically hands-on on site since I plan and design apples manage the job they do. I enjoy working with the team coz you get to have different views about how to execute the job and get faster ways and technics.
Pros: no promotion since i am on contract i have to get a permanent job first
Cons: work overtime most of the time for no pay

The office is always busy and fast which I enjoy. I get on well with my colleagues.
I have vast experience in Office Management. I have effective and excellent administrative, interpersonal, organisation and communication skills. I have worked with people from different cultures, backgrounds and have gained sound interpersonal skills. I am open minded, sensitive to confidentiality. I adapt easily and have in depth knowledge of computer skills. I received a Service Excellence Award - Batho Pele in December 2015.
Pros: You get to assist many people/ public as this is the highest office in the city.

I'm currently a Manager for assets at Msunduzi Municipality supervising 10 employees. I'm a hardworking person who is able to take initiative, goes extra mile and very focus.

Cons: I normally want to finish what I've started, get motivated, monitor staff output. I'm striving towards realising organizational goals and objectives.

Grow experience
I have a degree in supply chain management and Economics. At msunduzi municipality we offer services to the city of pietermaritzburg and ensure that the services are delivered to the right people. I was working as buyer where I had to select the right suppliers to offer the services to the community and to the company. I was also creating orders and ensuring that suppliers are being paid on time. I was ensuring that the right product are delivered on the right time, quality, and quantity. I also worked 3 months at stores while doing my internship in supply chain management. The company is as government owned so they gain the funds from government budgets and make money from community members when paying for water and electricity. Mostly suppliers were suppliers doing construction, such as infrastructure development, housing, and maintenance.

Excellent learning
It's very great. I work from 8-4:30 weekdays and 8-1 on Saturdays. I have a good relationship with all staff members and we respect one another. I learnt to be professional, organised, accurate, etc. I enjoy working individually and as a team if necessary. There's non challenges because we help one another when any problem arrises.

A place for change
The most challenging aspect of the position is change management. getting individuals and management to think outside the box and notice that there is a better way of doing the same task that saves time and increases productivity. A typical day would consist of compiling reports as well as purchasing functions. Supervision of staff and projects. External communication with suppliers and contractors.
