I'm have completed my studies of supply chain and logistics management at varsity college Westville

I am a very hard worker who is will to exceed to abilities to more than the lead time.... I have been studying supply chain management and have completed it through varsity college Westville with the effort of receiving the right job for me, I'm am very determined and willing to excel. My relationship with my Co-workers have been very challenging at first but we begun to become a team with make the job u tackle much more simple as everyone has a input so we can find the most suitable decision and that is something I have learnt with experience.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: I am willing to work long hours and night shift

Excellent learning opportunities

I have gained massive experience and knowledge in this industry , the 2 years I have been there I now know how the industry works and how to deal with problems . It has been interesting to learn all the different countries and their requirements with regards to exporting and importing .

Learning curve

Msc was an exciting place to work at , with the diversity of foregin Nationals working as one unit . I learned different languages such as french and a bit of Spanish and that the world is a big place .

Fantastic company that will ensure growth of character and career

Working within an international company presents its own unique challenges to any day - having to take into consideration time differences between countries as well as cultural differences between nations. Very rewarding once shipments have finally arrived / dispatched. The company offers all types of training skills from general software packages (Microsoft Office) to the companies unique software packages. Training is also offered across the board - to all employees alike so the opportunity to grow not only as a person, but to grow your career is readily available should you choose to. Skills acquired whilst working with this company range from answering the switchboard to reporting to our principle.

Energetic working environment

Msc was moving at a fast paste as that being said i worked with a great team with charismatic and helpful people. I have learned alot from working at msc I started at marketing then from there I got to sales, container booking booking of vessels sailing schedules, negotiating rates and alot more. What I've have enjoyed the most was working with people from around the world getting to know them and perspectives in life well I loved my job and working for a shipping company thrills me

Gained many new experiences

Good company , but its time for a change new . It's time to explore more possibilities gain more experiences and accomplish more as individual . MSC is company that instilled great knowledge in me. The people had good and bad days but I'm a team player . The overall day was learning something new and handle the task with patience.

8 month contracts working 11 hours a day 7 days a week

8 month contracts working 11 hours a day 7 days a week. Many long days serving guests from the moment you wake up until the moment you fall alseep. I was in charge of the VIP bar doing daily stock take and request various things needed in the bar. The guests all had a unlimited drinks package and the capacity of the bar was 250 guests. Life on board was tough. Being back on land now, I would love to find a job within the same industry.

Excellent communicator. Computer skills. Handling pressure

It's always busy Dealing with different drivers from different back ground Language barrier is the difficult part of my job, trying to communicate with foreign drivers. Long hours everyday pay Good money I've learned to keep calm under pressure and always stay focused. I'm order to capture the accurate data. Their is room for growth in the organisation. Good co-workers Organised management.
