Admin skills

I am curently unemployed do to moving from Cape town to the Vaal. Previously i was a PA learned about commercial properties. Got along great with my co workers an boss. Love the challenge of learning new things. Most challenging was to close deals with difficult clients.

Cons: I could not advance further in company

Experience in learning how to deal with different people.

Typical day get to work set up, greet everyone as you walk pass them. Answer phone calls reply emails help walk in customers test your patience with some people learn to deal with selflessness when it gets to co workers learn to cover your tracks with everything you do. sometimes closes early

Pros: No weekends or public holiday working
Cons: Unfair

Career growth

When i joined the company three years ago, i wanted to to groe career wise. bbut unfortunately the company was going through financial constraints there fore any opportunities were put on hold.

There is no chance for grow in company

As I am currently doing switchboard in a very busy company...I keep on getting more jobs to do WITH switchboard as managememt do not want to move me from switchboard as they have not had somebody decent as me in that position. It is not fair towards me who wants to grow in a company. So i am stuck.

Pros: I want to grow in my company
Cons: Refuse to find someone else for switchboard

Stepping stone

The current position is not my passion. I have strong administrative skills and enjoy working with people. I enjoy a challenge and the current position I hold is not very challenging. I enjoy putting procedures in place and watch them work for the company however this is not within my scope of the position I currently hold.

I learned all lot

I am a team player and I am able to multitask, I work well as a team and and I leaned s lot that it very important to pay attention to details. I enjoyed working with students and all admin staff the most enjoyed moments of my work was to help as many students about about their credits that I was capturing for them because it was challenging and need all my attention and keep me focused. My biggest challenge is to want to finish all the at once even those I was supposed to do tomorrow.

More than 7 years of customer service and administration work

I am Analysing and resolving queries. Analysing the exceptions (consumption). Analysing the exceptions of rand value. Doing billing reports. Office admin work.

Pros: To gain a great work experience within the government
Cons: Its a contract not a permanent position
