Career growth

Mpact is a broad company where there is room for career growth. My relationship with my subordinates is very good that everybody is willing to go an extra mile. I have learnt people management and especially the employee behaviour. A typical day at work is to liaise with suppliers, make purchase orders, liaise with procurement department, ascertain all material to make plant run efficiently is available. I enjoy managing people, motivating them, learning their behaviour. The most challenging part of my job is that the more I gain experience the more I feel like I need to make more decisions.

a work day at mpact is controlled, i am front desk reception and i am not growing iv been here for 5 years and skilled myself in more than one department but whenever a vacancy arise is get overlooked. i have a good relationship with co workers. nothing of what is do is challenging for me and that makes my work manottenes

Excellent Learning Curve

• Receive orders via faxes and e-mails from customers • Accurate Order taking and capturing • Following up on daily delivery for Customers • Monitoring of Production to ensure On Time Delivery • Monitoring Stock and if necessary liaise with Planning • Handling Telephonic Queries in a professional matter • Co-ordinates deliveries with distribution supervisor • Maintenance of the Order Book • CRM • Follow all ISO procedures for documentation • Filing and checking of all customer orders • Weekly and monthly customer visit • Monthly reporting on service delivery to Management • General administration daily problem solving, cannot fulfill customer delivery because of production delays eg, machine break down, raw material delivery delayed, printing stereo/die breakage etc.

Wonderful Working Environment.

Working at this company is challenging and exciting. Different legal matters crop up from nowhere and I enjoy the many challenges as I gain more knowledge and experience with different aspects of law. There is no monotonous and routine day in a week. Relationship with co-workers are great as I learn how to handle different personalities and characters effectively. Enjoy everything about working at this company.

Excellent learning curve

-Liase with each c-workers -Call customers - I have learned to be patient and this envirnment demand a listening skill - You have to be able to control your emotions as sometime customers are very rude -making sure that accounts are as per agreed terms of collection -Understand the way customers work with their account as it a challenge

Hardworking , team worker , eager to learn

Impact is a big company and reward employees due to performance , i also assist production department when there's a back log . we have a very great relationship with co-workers and management , most days it gets very busy during night shift and i enjoy that . i have learned that respect goes a long way in the company .challenges is when there's a lot deliveries to be made and low on production therefore we will have to do both production and load those trucks same day to meed deadline .

Pros: i was promoted from production to logistic
Cons: my shift is a 12 hours some times we have to work more than that

My experiences

i am a very energetic person, in my current position it does not allow me to be myself, i am at reception and it is not where i want to be, i am not challenged in my work and it is very frustration for me, some days i enjoy working at reception because i get to meet new people, i have learnt to be professional in every scenes of the word. i have a good relationship with my co-workers and the customers.

Pros: there are opportunities i just don't see myself growing in reception work
Cons: hours is a 8 hour day monday to friday
