A typical day would include analysing change in the construction works resulting in additional costs. Additional costs are recovered from the Defaulting Party. I get along well with the departments I work with. I do not struggle to acquire information required to get my job done. I have learnt how to manage budgets effectively and have also gained substantial experience in the fields of Costing, Variation Analysis, Letter and Report Writing as well as Forecasting. Two other strengths include effective negotiating and logical thinking. I enjoy the challenges which I face on a daily basis as well as engaging with persons of different nationalities and learning their cultural lifestyle of working. Some of the biggest challenges are to get parties to admit liability of their default but this is usually resolved by referring back to contractual agreements and obligations.

Learnt a lot from different people( company is highly diversified).
the job may be an office type like, but you always interact with lots of people from different departments. lots of queries to deal with on a daily basis. i enjoy resolving issues daily.
Pros: one can grow - lots of openings in other departments and within mine.
Cons: the downside of it is having limitations in terms of signatories. only one person authorised to sign some documents even if they aren't security risks

Perfect experience gainer
My social nature enables me to work comfortably with people from all walks of life on an individual basis and as part of a team. This is mainly due to the vast range of people I have I come in contact with during my working career. I however, have high expectations of myself; hence I expect a high level of performance from my peers and subordinates.

Review
I am in control for all Big Bore Hp piping welding for the whole of Kusile Power Station for MHPSA. I have been running 5 companies that are welding Big Bore on Kusile with regards to the planning and welding of HP piping also doing surveilance during before and after welding on a daily bases. I check workfiles and heat treatment charts for preheat and post weld heat treatment. checking welder qualifications , repair rate etc
