Very exciting to work in a team.

A typical work day I would arrive at least 30 minutes before my shift, clock on well in advance and prepare to take calls (open up all relevant programs on my PC). My relationship with my co-workers is very good, as we are all split up into teams, everyone is willing to assist each other when there is any assistance needed. I have learnt that being able to work as an individual is paramount, being able to work in or with a team gives me a new perspective on things, being able to learn from another person. I do enjoy going to work everyday, because there will be something new to learn, that I have not known or done before. Also spending time with my co-workers and of course being able to deal with customers as professionally and efficiently as possible. The challenging aspects of the job for me would be that, I don't know everything. As everything cannot be known to one person, it is a learning process and at times get frustrated that I don't know all the information.

Pros: Great opportunities within the company. Very good salary and shift allowance.
Cons: Working hours are not an issue as I am always willing to work. The different shifts at work makes it hard for me to get to work on a daily basis.

I have learnt a lot at Mindpearl, I loved the challenges.

Der Beitritt zum Call Center 2017 war für mich eine riesige Lernkurve, die ich sehr genossen habe. Vor allem die Zusammenarbeit mit Kollegen aus aller Welt, die tägliche Interaktion mit Passagieren und Kunden. Mein Deutsch hat sich stark verbessert, seit ich wieder in SA 5 Jahre bin, ich muss mich nur auf Englisch unterhalten. Ich würde nicht behaupten, dass mein Deutsch als solches perfekt ist, aber bitte, wenn Sie mir die Möglichkeit geben würden, es zu perfektionieren. Auch wenn ich eine Gehaltskürzung machen muss, dann werde das wirt. Es wäre, als würde ein Traum wahr werden. Alles, was ich bitte, ist eine Chance, eine Probezeit bitte. At Mindpearl I had to get up 4:30 for a 8:00 shift sit an hour 45min on the N1. When eventually get to the Waterfront I had to look for parking which costed me a lot of money per day (month) that in itself was so exhausting that I sadly had to leave.

Pros: Challenges, friendly atmosphere, management open door policy.
Cons: No parking, far driving distance on N1

Product related

My job is very fun, friendly environment. We also hard working employees as well. We also work as team players assist each other as co-workers. We have an open door policy with our Management. It is a free environment.

Excellent learning curve

I am interested in new ventures, growth and new working exposure. Currently we are over staffed and opportunities for growth and exposure are limited.

Lovely opportunity

A typical workday was busy my co-workers were very delightful to work with very helpful very friendly I learnt everything about the aviation industry reservation bookings and customer service and the most challenging aspect about the job wasTo assist people with minimum work resources

Great working experience

I work as a team leader on the Qantas account and amongst manny I am entusted with managing operations at our call centre. I am responsible for ensuring that we meet the client's needs and expectees when it comes to sales, customer service and quality of the service. I work very well with my co-workers and my charismatic personality makes it easier. Of all the things I do I enjoy motivating my team and ensuring they excell at what they do as that makes me look good too. Customer service is not for everyone, but I must say I totally enjoy being the help. The most difficult thing about my current job is managing time between all my roles, operations, managing the team, evaluating the team, dealing with the client needs and many more.

Learning opportunities

A typical work day is hectic and stressful. Always hight call volumes. My colleagues are great to work with because we understand how hectic things can get and we try to work together as a team. I have gained experience and knowledge of the airline industry as I've never worked in this environment before. The thing I enjoy most is my colleagues. The high calls volumes are challenging as every call is not the same and a little more complicated.
