Excellent learning curve

Busy place, you have to be patience Be pro active. Be a team player. Multi task. I have learnt to cope underpressure. I get along with all races and gender in my team very well. The most challenging is when u have to please the patients and theirs family.

Pros: Great place for learning to multi task
Cons: Staff is not acknowledged when good is said but 1 mistake you will get exposed to the others in department

Skilled with computers

Currently I am working at Midlands Medical Centre which is a health environment (hospital). I start my day at 6:45 am daily which is my clock in time.Im working in a really fast turnover ward so I have to be focused throughout the day.my work mates daily are 9 nurses that I assist which include my unit manager. The relationship I have with my co workers are really special as we are always there for each other...helping and guiding where needed. I have learnt a lot being part of the team in surgical E eg.diagnosis, doctors etc.i enjoy being there for patients that need some tender loving care, communicating, making them smile and just consoling if need be.My day is then done at 16:00pm.

Pros: need a change in enviroment
Cons: working hours

Always motivated to learn more and get involved in areas out of your scope.

It is a lovely company to work for but the hours are very long and there is no recognition or compensation for hard work done and bad selection process for new positions that arise.

Pros: Great in depth knowledge of the health-care industry
Cons: Long hours

Good experience

I have learned a lot. Given an opportunity to do more leadership. I enjoyed learning a lot from my collegues, junior or senior collegues. They always willing to help out. I enjoyed the environment i have with my team members, good team spirit and always there for each other. In work related things or personal. Always giving support to each other!

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours
