Conducive work environment

On a daily basis my tasks are to assess credit worthiness and affordability for new clients, looking at income& expenses, credit record ans the like. Customer service excellence is one of the values that are held by the company. I have learned that an ability to listen to and be able to deliver on client needs, is key in maintaining and growing new relationships in any business. Staff are recognised and rewarded for their contribution towards meeting the company targets. There is huge outcry from staff for monetary incentives as a reward system. This is mainly due to the challenging long working hours which negatively impacted me as a single mom who has to go home and take care of a child. The environment does allow for bringing a child to work but there are no children facilities. This often causes friction as kids will be kids and adults are trying to work.

Such an awesome place to work at .i jave all the tools and support i need to do my best at my job.i became a much better leader and also had an awesome management team

Learning experience

Work days are normal work that has to be done I Have a good relationship with my co-workers I have learnt a lot about finance and legal to date I love my job and what required to fulfil it External contingencies meeting targets as it impacts my score card

Good learning Curve

Working in complaint environment, ensures you to receive allot of complaint. All thou the client's complaint is against the bank. Every complaint is different has to b treated with different merits. Nothing can be ignored. because we all human and complaint from time to time. Why try and assist the client on level where we can put ourselves in the client position. I've learned not to judge as we all have our different behaviours and preferences. We share our client issues and provide it's other with the necessary advise and assistance to resolved the client complaint. I have also realized that not all complaint can be resolved to the client's satisfaction, and that the client should be made aware of this at a very sensitive level.

Daily review

typical work day starts early to do compile reports for the hub you representing, assisting staff with any queries and managing down the error ratio for the hub.

Growth and being able to learn about other departments

Having to work as a team is good because you get learn people individually.. and the most typical day is the last 3 days of the month when everyone is chasing targets and hoping to close the month with good numbers.

Pros: I have been promoted to 3 positions in a period of 5 years

Good learning curve

working at MFC is not so bad, i love the place is not far and i love the people as they are kind and i was welcomed very well when i got to join the new team. the most challenging thing here is the work that i am doing, it needs 100% focus as one mistake can cost the bank a lot of money, so i need to be focused at all times.

Excellent growth opportunities and personal development

It's a company that looks after their employees in line with one of their Company's strategy. Healthy work relationship with colleagues and healthy work environment. I have learned about debt and liability reduction, collections and financial skills as well as conflict management and decision making. I have enjoyed assisting clients by resolving their queries and rendering excellent customer service. The challenges that comes with the job not to have a gooo system in place to measure the teams performance, performing manual stats monthly.
