Meze Foods Reviews

Excellent learning curve

I worked previously as a quality controller and quality assurance technologist thus one had a clear picture of the QA department. Though I was a team leader of QC's as I was my then managers right hand I was not in a managerial position. This opportunity gave me an experience of being a leader in a department that one must fully overlook and ensure all conforms as production takes place. In the morning QC checks are conducted such as glass and plastic breakage before production begins the QC then does the personnel hygiene and I had to sign for it and overlook it. Temperatures are checked and all food safety checks are conducted prior to and during production. One must supervise people as production takes place and all duties required to run a successful department attending to other departments request and alerts as team work was important. Writing daily reports and follow up on corrective actions implemented.

Pros: Great opportunity to work with people
Cons: Mixing QC, QA and supervising at the same time

Struggling to survive

The company is making laxary products and making a lot of profit, but they pay nothing to their employees. They only promote employees from Zimbabwe and Malawi and oppress South Africans.

Pros: Only promoting foreigners
Cons: Cold working conditions
