Great industry to gain experience

I have learnt so much in every aspect, I enjoy my job. my relationship with my co-workers is excellent my typical work day is always busy and challenging physically and mentally. I enjoy how everyday my job challenges me to be more and greater at everything I do. The most challenging is to get people you work with to be as motivated and determined as you to be challenged and overcome obstacles

Good working environment

On a typical day at work, I always learn the importance of taking responsibility for your own action. And when communication is lacking or non existent there would be a lot of challenges that will arise. It is important that sometimes you stick to the basics because sometimes we complicate a problem by thinking technical whereas the problem lies with the basic stuff. I also learb that no man is an island. Together we can achieve more. Respect is key and the way you speak with people makes a huge difference.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn and grow in your feild

Excellent learning curve, Too many challenges that builds team work.

Ensure that a project is completed on time and within budget, that the project's objectives are met and that everyone else is doing their job properly -Oversee the projects to ensure the desired results are achieved, the most efficient resources are used, and the different interests involved are satisfied. -Providing advice on the management of projects -Organising the various professional people working on a project -Carrying out risk assessment -Making sure that all the aims of the project are met -making sure the quality standards are met -using IT or other systems to keep track of people and progress -recruiting specialists and sub-contractors -Managing all site projects from Initial stage to final stage -Continuous training of production workers in process to insure understanding and the relationship to quality and cost.

Excellent learning curve

The employees are open for learning as well as they teach you new tricks on how to machine the jobs given to you. The working environment is also a good one as it has high standards of safety

Work hand in hand with buyers Constant communication to amend prices and stock reversed. Team building SHE meeting - Pact agreements Always take care of your own interest first not putting a company before your own needs.

Results driven leader

The last company I worked for was Metso minerals, I gain a lot of experience in this short time of about three years with them. What was most interesting was to apply the knowledge I’ve gained from prev. companies, and it’s always a big challenge to move people from their old habits to follow new procedures.

Pros: I was employed to bring change in the company, improve Quality, reduce wait and improve productivity. When I was promoted to Acting Quality Manager and I improved quality performance and productivity from 14% to 4%.
Cons: I am a dedicated person always want to see change and improvement especially on a task and challenge given. I was not paid for overtime but due to many challenged we were faced with to improve quality I had working about four to five hours extra to make sure we bring change.

A typical work day

Not much I can say as I am retrenched I worked okay at the company.. Gave my best for 9 years and they did not even try to save my job. `That is why I am seeking new employment. I really hope to find something quickly
