Hardworking and time consuming

I have realised that working in development requires focus and balanced time management as the work is challenging and you have a deadline to meet.We were .group of 3 and we had a good understanding of our work. I enjoy working on new projects as it comes with new challenges but I make sure I overcome it and have a working system at the end of the day.

Pros: Big company
Cons: Less working hours

Typing skills,

It like working in a company where u don't get recognition by your bosses, I ha've been acting in this position fir 6 years now but I they can do is to allow me to act not to appoint me, I was doing a job for three people by myself it was a challenge and i was dealing with 4 different depots, my relation ship with my co workers was good because we were working as a team, helping each other where we don't understand, what I have learned is dat no matter change u face in life u kudt be strong and firm and tell it self thst u will do it, the most challenge was fading 4 depots by myself,

Pros: I did a course too, visual base programme
Cons: 8 hours

Two or more heads are better than one

I am a very flexible person who is getting along with everyone at work. I work 5 days a week and two day I work outside the office visiting stations conducting audit or doing safety inspection or training; I spend three days in the office for admin duties. We are two safety officers working with different departments, but we work as a team especially if we are conducting incident investigation, workshop / training we support each other. I learnt that people are different in terms of Culture, Religion and Priorities and to accommodate different personalities that will not impact your duties; and that what bring employees together is to follow policies and procedures because our views in most cases are different. I enjoy Incident Investigation as it is a team effort and you get learn how important is input from different people. The most challenging aspects is to get information from Managers that will enable to complete report or close findings

Pros: Promotion as junior Manager
Cons: 7 days a week

Growth and learning opportunity

My day starts at 03:00 and ends at 21:30 whereby performance is monitored at all times. I need to ensure that I have enough train sets that are ready to run the service. After peak hour, I have to analyse the peak performance and ensure that train sets that are scheduled for maintenance arrive there on time. The following meeting would the follow: production/SHE/consultative/project or inter phase. Following these meeting, I would then prepare for the afternoon peak, ensuring that shifts are closed and we have standby personnel and supervisors to assist during service interruptions. Service will then be monitored and controlled till the end of the day.

Pros: performing above expectation
Cons: production disruption

I say what I do, I do as I say and I always ensure that I have a paper trail to prove it.

Getting to work 30 minutes before the set time is my priority. I enjoy what I do and I do it with a passion and often work overtime to ensure target's are met. I work very well with co-workers ,I treat everyone with dignity and respect. I have learned that one needs to always keep a note book so as nothing is left forgotten and that a paper trail is most important. I love to work, I am treated with the utmost respect and always commended on my excellence and passion. I love my job, I love being busy and seldom sit still. The most challenging aspect is to work with different cultures and religions but I'm very diverse, openminded and always have have great respect for each and everyone's religion.

Pros: Always open for promotion and new challenges and love salary perks.
Cons: Being taken for granted and unappreciated
