Excellent learning curve

Duties are: Site Inspection Making sure guards are neat and on time Guard Placement Pay Queries First responder on scene Leave Queries Training Patrolling Physical and by Vehicle A typical work day would be arriving in the evening at 5pm (12 hour shift) to do our handover for the night shift, I then drive to the different sites to do checks as well as Training if required. I have a good relationship with my co-workers and have learnt a lot from there while being there. I enjoy it when my shift is over and I have a chat for a few minutes before leaving for home in the morning with my co-workers. The most challenging aspects of the job is working every weekend, I don't see much of my family but am happy to have a job in this hard job market we have currently.

Pros: Work with a good team
Cons: Long working hours and every weekend

Excellent learning curve

Staff come and go every month, because of deductions from salary for stupid things, Some security guards will start working in their first week and get fines for stupid things that is almost twice their monthly salary, so they will in their first month after only working one month have pay the company before even receiving their first month salary

Pros: Nice uniforms
Cons: Stupid salary deduction system

Armed Reaction

I have worked with Merlin Security for almost two years but I was working as a supervisor while a reaction officer at SCS . Here it's quite but I am not happy cause l am working while my contract say I am an independent contractor while I have kids to look after as a family man. It was going to be fine if there were benefits and we get paid sometimes on the 7th or the 10th of some months so I need Security for my family . I want my family to be better than me . I promise to put the clients first before me . I have my own firearm and my own car .

Pros: I am a disciplined and punctual person.
Cons: I am always ready to go a mile for the company but if I got informed in time for preparations.
