I'm a quick learner and always looking to learn new things to keep up to date

I am the facilities manager of a private hospital group called Melomed Hospital holdings. I manager five hospitals, regional office and our head office in Kenilworth. I handle the quotation and budgets of all the facilities in the group. I also handle all the chairman's personal property and his game farm. Myself and the company directors work closely in trying to expand the group. I'm busy with the first facility out side of cape town and it is being built in Richards bay.

Pros: I enjoy working for the group as I'm always learning new things
Cons: I am being force to relocate to Richards Bay and my family does not want to relocate there.

Flexible with the willingness to learn and carry out each task to the best of my ability

A self motivated individual who prompts challenges with grace and vigour of forcefullness. I am a very determined individual and will walk that extra mile if necessary.By the same token,needless to say,that I will use all ingenuity to prevent the need for that extra mile.I believe life is a learning experience tasked upon each individual.whether we choose to learn from it or not is totally up to us.I am a goal orientated person who always carries out each task to the best of my ability.I am a people's person and able to communicate with different people at different levels..I trust my application will meet your favourable decision

Quick learner

I'm a quick learner and a go getter nothing stands in my way to becoming the best at what I do for myself and the company I work for. I will always put the company interest first and prove that I am looking in there interest and well being.

Pros: I handle all the companies property by keeping it at the highest standard of quietly as a private practise and ready for department of health inspections that takes place at anytime.
Cons: Company want me to relocate to Richards bay.

Full HR function

Good working experience, reporting directly to the CEO. Very long working hours, and with a very varied portfolio. Every day has its challenges, and had to be keep a breast of all situations within the 5 hospitals I was responsible for. Lots of IR issues and recruitment was every week.

Learning about healthcare

A typical work day is me helping patients. Escorting patients either via bed or wheelchair to wards, doctors rooms as well xrays. Days are very busy and I enjoy what I do because I enjoy helping people. It can be difficult when having to push very heavy patients around in a wheelchair as it puts strain on the back. The people I work with are very nice. I enjoy being able to learn about so many things about healthcare. What I see daily is not for the faint hearted.
