Staff very important in workplace. Motivating guys on the floor keeps business running. Great motivator and leader. Achieving personal success and success as a team is what I aim for. Company image of great importance as we all need our company to grow. Logistics is a 24/7 job and therefor difficult to keep team motivated and in good nick. But leading by example keeps my team positive.

Excellent communication and people management skills

I am tasked with administration associated with the purchasing and commercial functions of the organisation for the ongoing National Re-signalling Project both in Capetown and Gauteng provinces utilizing the in-house Infor LN ERP System. I work under very strict deadlines in order to meet the production needs of the following projects

Pros: Great experience gained from competent engineers with more than 20 years in the industry
Cons: The organisation is a project based and employment is not guaranteed unless due to the temporary nature of the projects

Excellent learning curve

I Ii was working at this company for a period of close to 3 years as an administrator, Mehleketo Resourcing was a very reputable company and it gave us a room for improvement as I was sent for different trainings every now and again , I even scored myself a promotion along the was just before it got liquidated unfortunately...

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Too much pressure

My New Challenge

I enjoy working in Rail Construction, I enjoy what I do, my job is very challenging and I learn new things everyday. I do not have an exact start time and end time, although my job title says Logistics Administrator, I co-ordinate all the plant and fleet, I source new suppliers that may be needed, I meet with suppliers and negotiate prices with suppliers. I work well alone and within a team, I enjoy interacting with people. I have learnt a lot about rail construction, I have never worked in construction , so this was a new challenge for me, I enjoy challenges.

Pros: I have the opportunity to interact with almost every person in my company, i like helping people. i like scheduling vehicles and helping my collegues do their work more productively.
Cons: There is no room for growth in my company
