Mediclinic Morningside Reviews

Excellent training and development opportunities offered

Open relationship with staff, I manage a team of 23 staff members. Beside team building and all the IR related process that I have to follow daily, I Manage the income for the hospital meaning making sure that all my staff follow the correct processes and make sure that their work is done real time. Daily, is doing check lists and attending meetings, Part taking in all roll outs in the hospital that concerns and has an impact on my department. Myself and my team deals with a client even before they come into the facility until their accounts are on a nil balance. I enjoy the dealing with clients esp. high rate ones. Most challenging part of my job is the International medical insurances and chasing them for the payments. I have learnt that no matter how long you are in a company there is always room for improvement and you learn some thing different all the time.

Pros: Making money and learning all different negotiations with funders and legal.
Cons: Not much room for promotion currently as Current line managers are here to stay
