I work in the capacity of a business debt recovery agent, the typical day at the office is very busy and requires a lot of patience. I mainly do tracing and communicate with clients electronically and face to face to recover high balances owed to municipalities. My relationship with co-workers is professional and fun as we work in an environment which is highly stressful at times and requires laughs to lighten up the office. I have learned a lot with regards to the debt recovery industry as I have done work in the legal department with regard to LOD's, Summonses, Judgments and Liquidation Notices. I truly enjoy my job overall especially when I exceed my target. It is very challenging convincing clients to pay as municipalities often have accounts with many queries.
