Excellent learning curve

The company has a great culture of family and it does care of its employees. In a day you get to learn something different or come across a different challenge. On a daily basis you get to learn something new and I have learnt so much in term of costing and finance. The most challenging thing is the industry in general and being too familiar with the environment.

Due to the Covid induced down turn I was made redundant.

I had a very good relationship with the Production Manager, sales staff and the warehouse personnel. I learnt a lot about a high paced customer focused systems. The value of good strategic planning was highlighted by our failures. I enjoyed the products and application most. There is great advantage to having good products on offer. The most challenging aspect of my job was to bring the plant into profit with equipment that should have been out of commission years ago.

Pros: MCG is a well established brand tht has products that sell themselves
Cons: Constant threat of closure.

Excellent learninh curve

My duties daily are to reconcile supplier statements, capture invoices using syspro, Grn of goods received, resolving supplier queries, filing, swithboard duty.i work in the finance department whereby we work as a team and work hand in hand, we have a positive attitude towards our work and make sure we strive for good results. Ive learnt how things work in the real world of accounting i enjoy work that is challenging that gives me pressure to figure something out and finding the solution. I enjoy interacting with our suppliers they were also somehow my collegues we built a positive relationship.

Im a hardworker and fast learner and also very energetic

it was a very interesting working experience.The workers were about twice my age but treated me with as much respect as they were treated which made me feel comfortable in my working in environment and they helped me learn more about the job.the work day were from 6am to 6pm which made it very hard but helped us work harder and also work together
