It is a massive opporty

Working for MBSA is a great opportunity. You get to learn to work with large numbers of employees, you build multiple networking opportunities, local and Global. Problem solving is our daily bread, it is in our system, and structured problem solving approach makes it more interesting. What I enjoyed the most is to be able to represent female engines in a male dominated industry. As difficult as it may sound but to go home at the end of the day with a smile in your face is a priceless reward. The challenges that I am facing at the moment are Career Development. To get funding from the company to continue with your studies is a challenge. Movement form division to division is the biggest challenge. I would open a lot of learning opportunities, and help us discover our strength in the field

Pros: It is a great experience to work in Quality department. Quality is automatically injected in your system. You live it, at work, at home, everywhere. You just became a Quality ambassador.
Cons: My work has just become a routine, less challenging projects, limited and that is frustrating to as a young woman who is willing to grow and enhance my career

Valuable experience

Flexible working hours. Required to produce top quality work. High pressure environment. High salary incentives and bonuses. Recognition in best work done. Internal job rotation opportunities.

Excellent and rewarding career

Work day Quality of work: Always accurate, thorough and competent. Quantity of work: Able to meet deadlines and time management is critical. Relationships : Participating team player and lead ir give durection when necessary with co-workers. Give direction and advice to Senior management in terms of results and analysis. Learned to adapt to changes quickly. Tolerance for stress, collaborative and problem solving as well as customer orientation. Enjoyed the most: management accounts and forecasting. Challenges : Implementing cost reduction ideas however able to achieve the results.

Pros: Training and Developments as well as flexible working hours.
Cons: Not in a position to make decisions

What I enjoyed the most is to be able to represent female engineers in a male dominated industry. As difficult as it may sound but to go home at the end of the day with a smile in your face is a priceless reward. As a team manager in Torque audits, we would find issues almost every day and automatically you become part of the problem solving team and in most case I would have to coordinate the root cause analysis and initiate problem solving. Being able to take the lead and accountability of my work. Voicing my opinions without fear. Learning new things every day.

I'm an excellent team player.

Our work involves solving complex electrical, electronic, electromechanical and PLC problems. Apart from Preventative and Project work, we are also expected to bring up ideas for continuous improvement, individually as well as functioning as a team. We also have daily targets for our support to the production team to ensure maximum equipment availability at all times and limiting downtown on machinery to a minimum.

Pros: Dynamic company with a good focus on growing as a contributor in the region as well as globally. People empowerment is also a priority and training is provided to skill personnel in their different work areas.
Cons: Not much prospect for promotion/growth in other areas of the business.
