New industry for me, Cross-border Controller (Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, DRC)

Started as a jnr Tracker, worked myself up to get promoted till i was South Bound Controller. Learnt that proper planning prevents poor performance How important Team work, Sharing of wisdom and doing your function will result in success

Pros: I learned something new, about a huge sector, and how it operates.
Cons: Company culture is very negative, and poisons your positive attitude

Excellent learning curve

Learned a lot of new things everyday, Learned a lot about being a diesel mechanic, worked long hours, but the pay at the end of the month was worth it. Had good relationships with my co workers, i enjoyed the most the part where i could provide for my family. Not a lot of challenges as I had a good relationship at work with my boss and co workers

Pros: I learner a lot while working there, which made me what I am today
Cons: No cons really

Learning curve and gained experience

At MBS we deal with all kinds of occurences and incidences involved with cross-border logistics. I have learn't to deal with foreigners / all types of diseases which are not often found in South Africa. I have been on 24 hour call for almost 5 years dealing with medical emergencies at any time of day and night. The biggest challenges that I have dealt with is the inefficient medical systems outside the South African borders.

Learning curve

Relationships with both Managers and Co-workers were very good....i learned a lot of truck and how they work, but i have worked on cars and plant equipment before.

I have learnt a lot and keep learning everyday which is the ultimate to any job

A typical work day for most is probably boring, i enjoy having to look for hours to complete your job. No fun at all if there werent any challenges. All my co-workers are currently the opposite of who i am so sometimes work can be serious and dull. I have learnt sometimes i prefer to work in my own bubble as you tend to work better and happier.

I am currently employed at Man power labour as call centre agent

I i am a very hard and dedicated worker. I am aslo very willing to learn new things.i have worked at mbs group.i have enjoyed working there ialso learned for a creditors position
