Excellent learning curve

When I started with the company i knew nothing bout property management and I was given the opportunity to gain an incredible amount of knowledge and confidence in a complete different field. i thoroughly enjoy working with my co workers as we are an amazing team. The most challenging aspect of the job is to keep clients happy as we work for the clients.

Ability to learn on a daily basis and increase my knowledge in my field of work

The job function is very challenging and enjoyable, especially conducting the meetings, however the lack of infrastructure within the company and lack of support from management does not allow for the company to progress. Staff and co-workers are very hard working and accommodating.

Excellent learning curve

It is a wonderful place to learn. You need to enjoy dealing with people and can resolve issues. You need to be able to deal with people on all levels and you will be dealing with owners and tenants.

Pros: Good staff
Cons: Tenants can be demanding.

I love working at the present company. When i started I knew nothing about property management but I was given the opportunity to learn and to further myself. we are an awesome team .

Good company but no growth

It is a lovely place to work. My Director is the most wonderful director who has given me opportunities to learn. Although I love my job I am unhappy with my salary. I have great relationships with all my co-workers I enjoying dealing with everyone and I am pleased when I can assist and make them happy. Most challenging part of the job is dealing with grumpy employees but I have learnt how to handle them.

Pros: I work on my own independantly.
Cons: Salary, no team work.

Excellent learning curve

Started as secretary, then became property administrator and then property manager. When I joined the company in 2004 I knew very little about property management and the company gave me the opportunity to work myself up and improve myself. No day is ever the same. The most challenging aspects of the job is to keep the clients happy at all times: customer is king. I stepped down as property manager as the evening meetings started taking it's toll and became assistant property manager

Pros: Very stable company
Cons: Very pressurized

Been given the opportunity to broaden my horizon

Typical work day: Hectic, as you deal with a variety of queries eg maintenance, levies, tenants I have an awesome relationship with my co workers. There is a great amount of team work I have learnt a lot about the sectional titles act and learn more everyday I enjoy the interaction with the public The days are never the same and one never knows what the day brings

Pros: Very stable company
Cons: Once a property manager there are a lot of evening meetings
