Excellent learning experience in the IT industry and also as a Office Administrator

I am currently working as a Office Administrator and sales co ordinate, I have learnt how to be patient especially when it comes to sales dealing with difficult clients on a daily basis, doing two jobs at once handling stressful situations and also working well in a office environment, my reason for leaving would be for better prospects and also theirs a high rate in employees leaving so there is no growth within the company at all I am currently working on a fixed contract so it has not yet been determined yet when it will be renewed. my previous experience was in sales I worked as a IT sales Representative for a year and four months at Matrix Warehouse, and before that I did in store promotions for a company called Leegra Marketing and Intel also sales.

Pros: Great opportunity to do what I love the most
Cons: Long hours working twice as hard and not getting paid your worth and also high rate in employees leaving the company.

I learnt alot within the IT industry and to work well in a team.

A typical work day for me would be answering phone calls on a daily basis reviewing my emails, calling clients on a daily basis as well as assisting with sales, my relationship with my colleagues would be good we work well within a team as I am a Sales co ordinate and a Office Administrator, I learnt how to work under pressure and my computer skills have improved a lot. I enjoy training who ever is new to the company, I also enjoy taking down the minutes in the meeting cause you learn a lot from attending meetings such as listening to everyone's views learning a lot and dealing with conflict within the company. the most challenging aspects of the company would be that there is no growth where I am currently working and stability as well, I would like to be in a company where I will last for many years to come and where I am currently working employees are always resigning and I doubt the company will last in the future.

Pros: My boss is friendly and understanding
Cons: your pay is short every month and we get paid late, business is unorganised

Learnt alot in terms of IT and office Administration, and how to handle pressure

My typical day at work would be arriving on time so I can prepare myself before the clients walk in, I would do quotations, invoices, send out emails make sure I hit my monthly target, in terms of IT I learnt a lot because I did not study it, but I know a lot about computers, processors and technical work. My relationship with my co workers was okay we worked well in a team we were very professional at all times, I enjoyed communicating with clients who had good energy that just made my day, the most challenging aspects were dealing with difficult clients but they taught me a lot in terms of patience and being calm at all times, my other challenges were getting paid late which is also what I am currently experiencing at my current job as well.

Pros: learning more about tiles at my current job and at Matrix IT had a lot of theory so I was very clued about about IT products
Cons: Long hours working and not getting paid your worth and also high rate in employees leaving the company.

Worked well with people of different genders and races, learnt how to handle pressure well.

My typical day at work would be arriving on time, replying to all my emails, doing invoices and contacting my clients, making sure that I hit my monthly target. My relationship with my co workers is very professional we work well as a team, I have learnt to be more calm in stressful situations make sure all reports are done on time and I also learnt a lot doing training. I enjoy communicating with different people from different back grounds, people that have good energy and that are positive such as myself. Most challenging moments would be working with difficult clients as well as getting paid late and the employees concerns are never recognized or dealt with.

Pros: I work with people who have great characteristics
Cons: working long hours and not getting paid the right way, receiving salary late every month

Great way of learning how to communicate with different people

A typical day at work for me would be going in early, checking my emails, seeing if all my quotations are done, assisting the sales representatives with their clients, doing all my administration duties, answering calls from clients, doing invoices for clients that have paid making sure I hit my monthly target. my relationship with my co workers is good we work well within a team since I co ordinate the sales, and we are professional at all times. I have learnt to have patience and to work under pressure and to stay calm at all times even when I am dealing with a difficult client. I enjoy communicating with clients that have good energy cause it improves my day. most difficult challenges would be when a sales rep has done something wrong it would be my duty to find out what is going on and assist the client further with their problem, and my other challenge would be getting paid late every month.

Pros: My boss is a easy person and I have great colleagues
Cons: Getting paid late every month, high rate in employees leaving the company, no growth or stability

A chance a learn a lot

My day consists of mainly assisting clients, maintaining relationships with clients and assisting my manager with running the store. My co-workers and I get along well and we are like family. While working here I learned a lot about IT, teamwork, time management and facing problems head on. I was also very shy before I started working here and working in retail has helped me a lot with that. I enjoy working with clients and my colleagues. The only thing I do not like about my job is the long hours, since I do not get time to spend with my family, and the communication gaps between management and employees.

Pros: Able to learn a lot, staff purchases
Cons: Long hours, poor communication

Good for learning new things

My work consists of mainly assisting clients, maintaining client relationships and assisting the manager with running the store. I like my job but there is a huge communication gap between higher management and employees. I feel unappreciated and I dont get enough time to spend with my family.

Cons: Long hours

Great working experience and learning as well

My typical day at work would be coming in checking my emails and assisting walk in clients answering the phone when it rings, doing sales co ordination as well as assisting with invoices, quotations and managing the showroom. My relationship with my co workers is okay it is very professional and we work well in a team. I have learnt that I can manage a showroom alone as well as all the duties i do on a daily basis I have also learnt leadership skills. I enjoy working alone and assisting with sales co ordination. The most challenging aspects would be the employees payroll every month assisting with that is hard because i need to keep track of all invoices and clock in cards.

Cons: no growth in the company

Excellent experience gained in multiple fields

Communicating with clients to sell products required, troubleshoot various problems, repairing problematic devices. Friendly staff allows for a good atmosphere. Learn new solutions to every situation. Helping clients resolve there problems.

Pros: Gaining experience in Sales and IT field. Excellent learning opportunity for Technicians.
Cons: Communication with unreasonable clients.

Great experience

learning each and everyday, learned to provide superior customer service and learned some of the technical skill to tackle a problem. its great working at matrix but sometimes its bad. sometimes you get difficult customers but i have learned to work with difficult customers so its not a problem. my co-workers are nice and helpful people to work around.

Pros: you get good experience with clients when you are working at matrix, you get to develop your career and its a good start for someone without experience.
Cons: under paid, sometimes treatment is bad by the owners or manager.
