LEARNING CURVE

am presently working for Matatiele Local Municipality where my job as a procurement manager provides me exposure to lot of things in a single working day. Since this position requires that a person is organized and result oriented, I work hard to manage the logistics of supplies and goods procurement. I have had great success in managing cost reduction for my company by employing purchasing techniques that I believe very few people in this industry have knowledge of. With my strong negotiation skills, I consider myself a breed apart whether it is managing everyday work or picking up new projects to do. Moreover, I am highly skilled in preparing purchase requisitions, approving and issuing purchase orders, coordinating vendor activity, and negotiating service agreements.

EXCELLENT WORK AND ACQUIRING GOOD LEARNING CURVE

I like my job because I interact with people on daily basis and I have a good interpersonal relations. serving people of various educational level has taught me a lot of patience and understanding, such as coming down to their level in order to reach an amicable solution to a problem. I relate very well with my co-workers even my superiors. I work with Councillors as well, politicians who does not care about what the policy says. I have learnt to be patient and treat them with respect they deserve but upholding work ethics. I enjoy giving advice to employees regarding their future, in terms of structuring their salaries and encouraging them to develop in terms of education. I enjoy when they thank me for the good advice I provided. The most challenging aspects of my job is political interference in administration. when one is forced not to follow the book mostly in recruitment and selection, when politicians would want their own people to be hired even if they do not have all the credentials for the post.

Pros: Great opportunity for career growth as well as satisfaction of serving the community.
Cons: Long hours and dealing with difficult customers.

Excellent learning curve

The most challenging things in the organisation

the matatiele local municpality is the one that has got clean audits for number of times adn is verry progressive .i since i joined this organisation i have enjoyrd every momemnt i spent here the staff is very kind when you the new comer .

Highly self motivated and self disciplined person, Hardworking Individual, Teachable Confident and positive approach towards life, Conscientious with the ability to maintain a constantly high standard of work under pressure, Friendly person who works well alone and with others and a good team member who complete tasks on time. I’ve spent time in Finance Administration, and have learned from all work that has been done. I am skilled at managing complex admin and have deep knowledge of Excel, I’m Accounting individual with a passion for compiling and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to help all seniors or leaders make smart decisions, faster. My strong suits are maintaining all accounting standards good presentation and also referencing.

Learned a lot of work and even studied CISA, Bid Committees and currently studying IAT

I work from Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 16:00 pm, we have a strong relationship with my colleagues team work is our motto, I learned CISA, Bid Committees and currently studying IAT. Other than that learned a lot on auditing performance of information, supply chain management, Revenue and Receivables, Traffic management,presentations on audit committee other items. Enjoyed engaging with my fellow colleagues on topic that needs attention. Auditing ICT

Make time for work to complete work in time all the time
