Great Opportunity

I work with mining, engineering, plant and services departments in my daily duties. Handling payroll queries and capturing leave information and other data on SAP system and Microsoft office, e.g. Word and Excel. I have an excellent working relationship with my team and we complement one another due to our different experiences. My 10 years' experience in the Payroll department comes with passion, attention to detail, compassion and loyalty. I enjoy being able to assist everyone with a pay query and seeing a happy face after having helped these employees. I get a challenge whenever I have to make an employee understand his/her salary when they believe they have been short paid and in the meantime they want you to tell them what they want to hear and not the actual fact of the matter.

Good Exposure

Working for my current company has groomed me, made me a bold and strong human being. I have grown to be independent and assertive in the number of years I have been here. The company has provided me with so much exposure within the finance department, mining, engineering, services and currently concentrator plant. On a daily basis I deal with suppliers on payment queries, orders and other elements. This has boosted my customer service tremendously as I enjoy working with people. My relationship with my co-workers is professional but yet refreshing as we are able to cross into each other's daily duties through assisting where help needs be. In this period I have learnt how important the department I am working for is the core of the business and the fundamentals of it. The most challenging aspect of my job is controlling the cost without impacting on the efficiency of the production.

Absolutely excellent learning curve with quite a lot of technical chalenges

its quite challenging to work without spares and you have to improvise to get machines to production without violating any safety standards. hence daily we did manage

Pros: unavailability of spares sharpened my technical skills because we ha to strip, clean and asses components
Cons: too much long working hours because of working without spares

Excellent learning curve

tGreat opportunities for development but less opportunities for promotion. Salary package os a bit better.Employees treated as family and well taken care of. Good management prospects. er salary packageevelopment
