Poor

Not much learning involved. As you attend to basic problems on machines as more technical gets sent away to dealerships. Very little compensation given for working away. Working with workshop floor staff is great as the team is young.

Pros: Non
Cons: No compensation for food when working late unplaned.no structure. No growth

Excellent learning curve

The company offers a broad spectrum of experiential learning. There is something new to learn about every day. Which is great for one's personal growth and career wise. Either than that, one needs to put on a positive attitude to survive a day in a construction environment. If not the pressure and undermining could destroy one willingness to perform well. A woman in the industry needs to be strong and challenge the men so that they don't look down apon us.

Pros: good experience
Cons: lack of respects amongst co-works

Great learning curve

I have a very good sense of humour I interact with workers and I am able to deal with problems they face . I am a person who believes time waits for no one so I work with time. I have learnt so much from skilled labourers. I got a chance to apply my knowledge and mostly I dealt with surveying. I enjoyed daily meetings where I was given daily tasks and i made sure I complete my tasks even before the day ends. I have also learnt pipe laying and stabilizing.

Pros: Great opportunity to gain experience within the field
Cons: Long working hours

Great learning opportunity

I had a great opportunity to learn about the industry and I was offered a lot of opportunities to stand on my own of which I took and enjoyed. The work environment was good also, everyone was willing to help the other person in order to get the project done. I learnt a lot about the importance of job planning and how to go about it, managing labour and plant for best use, mostly I learnt how to be cost conscious and save the company money.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn and get an insight of the civil engineering world
Cons: Long working hours
