Excellent growth opportunity

For me, a typical day at the office is one which involves lots of people and lots of paper work. My co-workers and I have a very good understanding of each other and therefore we are a high performing team. We are always out to help and just there if one needs to talk. I have leaned everything I know about HR from my current position and mainly I have learned that when dealing with any person, have some patience and respect the next person so that you will be respected in return. The part of this job I enjoy the most is keeping order to employees files and documentation to ensure when an employee has a request, there are no gaps in their files. The most challenging aspect to my job is language barriers as I can only speak English.

Learning opportunities

I have countless opportunities of growth in this company, I have a good relationship with my co-workers we are like a family. I have been on courses for legislation with regards to leave and terminations, the most challenging aspects of my job is the fact that I cannot speak other languages.

Learning Curve

The culture of the company is fantastic, people are very friendly. Have made great relationships with suppliers. The type of work I have been doing has taught me great personal skills. Working with people of different personalities makes you be able to handle the different people. I have learnt that people are not the same so I really enjoy it. Challenging times are month end times. Most of the stock gets ordered around month end so this makes you receive a lot of work at the same time, but if you have handled your work well during the month, this is managable

Fantastic environment

Great environment, very positive. World-class quality and safety standards in every respect. So long as targets are met or exceeded the days are a breeze Management has focused on and created a "family" environment Employees at all levels are rewarded for suggestions and improvement suggestions They are also recognized for great work done There are many opportunities to grow and up your skill levels. Ensuring customer specifications are met takes self-disciple and dedication

Excellent learning curve and getting experience from my colleagues

Its a great company to start your career at and the people and the colleagues are also friendly. I have learnt a lot since I was coming from school. I enjoyed the busy Monday mornings and the challenges that the job came with

There is room for growth

There is no typical day at work when one works in HR as there are different people with different situations which you as the HR personnel has to deal with. Most of my duties involved consultations as well as administration and wages payroll. I have a very good close relationship with my co-workers as we spend most of our time together and we work as a team to get our work done on time and accurately. I have learned all my HR skills as well as working on systems like SAP and Unique. The thing I enjoy the most about my work is the fact that I get to meet new people and also I work a lot with people and that is my passion. The challenges that I face in this job is language barriers as I cannot speak IsiZulu or Afrikaans.

Excellence with everything

Mahle Behr SA is a big company that produced automotive components for Cars like Charge air cooler radiator and condenser. I fall in Maintenance side which deals with breakdowns and avoid down time of the machines around the factory and as electronics technician all programs of PLC that controls machine we work with them upgrade and do fault finding also repair.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours
