Great place to learn and grow

I deal with a lot of engineering companies, consultants, water and sanitation departments so I see a lot of people who have different personalities, characteristics, moods as well as ways of communicating are different that all requires a lot of patience and understanding. I would say my relationship with every individual I work with whether it be within my work place or is a customer of mine is at place that I am fully satisfied with as I have earned every ounce of respect I give and also receive. I always say it takes a long time to develop a relationship and trust but it takes a second to have it all come tumbling down. I enjoy the face to face interactions I have daily, I enjoy the satisfaction I see or phone call I get to say job well done or thank you for the service as it not only shows my character but it also makes me want to go another extra mile not only for my own benefit but for also the company I am representing.

Pros: well known, well established name and company
Cons: a big company requires alot of man power which requires great synergy as well as communication skills as every department feeds off the other.

Cons: I was working from 07:30 am - 16:30 pm and overtime when the supervisor instructed us to do so.

Busy - best way to describe a typical day no day is the same. I loved working in a team, was never appreciated and the efforts put in weren't noticed, that was the only down fall.

Telephonic queries related to Automotive Excellent team environment, working towards the same goal With minimal academic background, over the years I have gained an extensive experience in the field am in, even from prior companies I have been part of. A job well done with a much more satisfied customer, which I define as "service with a smile" Being able to deal with all different types of customers and being able to stay clam and collected to ensure service delivery.

Its Exciting

Working in such a company is exciting,though challenges are there,i started in the wharehouse,i have learned to operate different machines,learning different products,assisting customers,after a while i started doing deliveries driving trucks thats where i started to know how to deal with problems related to deliveries issues.its interesting working there sometimes its stressing .

Learning different roles

I started working for Macsteel for 3years whereby I worked for 3c different branches. I started as an Intern In Human Capital, got a permanent position year later as a Receptionist then got a promotion after 4months as a Receiving Administrator. Firstly I appreciate on how I grew within this company as it sells steel nationally and internationally, the opportunity of the absorbing me and giving a chance to learn different departments is remarkable as I know how the company as a whole operates. With the knowledge I obtained regarding the steel we sell I can again get a position in the sales department .
