Excellent learning curve
Planning loads is a very challenging yet enjoyable thing to do as you have to ensure that deliveries are done in a most cost effective way, and also the route must be in such a way that the driver can be able to make every delivery on time and not come back with material because of late deliveries. The relationship between me, the loaders and the drivers is something that I take seriously as they are the ones that determine if my plan will be executed on time or not. I always ensure that everything is communicated clearly and also understood. I have learnt the skills to lead people, to be goal driven and customer focus. In the previous three years I've also learnt how to use SAP with was implemented recently, and I've also learnt how to track the whereabouts of drivers with soultrack system which is the system that we use. I enjoy seeing my plans being executed on time and as planned, that has always brought me confidence in the current job that I do.
Pros: an opportunity to learn to learn new things and grow
Cons: retrenchment as the company is currently losing major clients due to the merging of branches.

It is an internationally based company
I enjoy selling. I have a fantastic group of colleges in my department, but not all departments work together as well as we do. I love being in a male dominated industry and still being able to give a better idea for the project that Mr DIY guy thinks he can out smart and out technically talk a female. Work day is 8 to 16:30. We used to have early Fridays but that has fallen away due to some department not being able to work hand in hand. There is always something to learn. The interesting customers that are trying to build something unique. Or the specific requirements of a particular grade or pipe application. I love the technical understanding required to sell this type of product. I love a interesting technical sale!

I believe that knowledge is power, and I can most certainly add value to the Company
My day is challenging in that I am very busy and with the software we have, we learn a lot of different applications every day. I get on very well with my co-workers, and we work as a team all the time. I learnt that sharing knowledge is very important in that it makes one more pro-active during the times we work in. My years of experience is the most challenging aspect of the job.
Pros: I do not have a degree, only diplomas, but my years of experience should count for a promotion if applicable
Cons: Only to meed with the deadlines or Year end audit requirements

Good Learning Experience
I learned a lot from the company. Reason i would like to leave is because of thw early starting and late working hours and travelling distance is too far. Travelling costs have become high due to the distance. Therefore looking for something closer for travelling with shorter finishing times

When I was working there I had good time and learn a lot.
The company was good to me and it was a great experience to find opportunity like to one of cadindited that elected to do a learnship with company like macsteel.I learn a lot like different trucks ,how to obey other drivers at road ,different road and most important to thing how respect customers.
Pros: The was great opportunity for promotion .
Cons: If you are a driver long hours are always appeared or worked because you are on road.

Awesome experience
working at Macsteel was the first time working for a big company with so much employees, I can't really say I once had a bad day at work .my supervisors were good people as well as my colleagues. for most of employees it was a surprise for them for me as a woman to come and work in a field that is well known as men s job. but none of them ever took advantage of me as a girl in men s world ,they loved and appreciated me.they taught me so much with trucks and deliveries. unfortunately the contract came to the end on the 29th of September this year.

Excellent learning curve
As i was a administrator at macsteel service centr for 18 months i handle allaspectsof human resources including managing the hiring process developing training schedules. My high energy personality and interpersonal skills lend themselves well to working with a large staff .my experience along with my personal qualities make me an ideal candidate for your HR administrator position
Pros: Macsteel is a goood company where i learned lot of thing under HR ,printing long service certificate,printing and issuing of IRP5,EFM,organizing employees work files, capturing leave forms on SAP and cronos and leave sheet , capturing IFACTS,Drafting and sending letters to unsuccessful candidates,organising interviews ,inviting candidates who meet requirements
Cons: more flexible workforce the ability to deal with bottlenecks, busy periods, cover of absences and staff shortages without the need to recruit extra staff increased earning for employees and mutual employer benefit avoidance of disruption to jobs where the workload is more difficult to share, eg transport and driving the ability to carry out repair and maintenance which has to be done outside normal working hours

Great n enjoyable
My relationship with my company was very excellent, and I enjoyed working there. I have learned so much things that I didn't know I would be able to perform. I enjoyed working on all shift.
