Working for Luthansa

I work for Lufthansa. this is very stressful position as we deal with flights and bookings. A typical work day for me would be coming in setting up and going through call after call solving multiple issues and aiming towards first call resolutions to all of them. I have a great relationship with all of the employees as it is a small company and everyone is extremely helpful. I have learnt new systems and airport policies regarding booking flights and assisting passengers with all queries. I enjoy the benefits of the job as we do get discounts on hotels and flights. We also have programs in place for agents to work in other countries for a few months and this is amazing. The most challenging aspect of the job is actually getting to know the system and accuracy when making changes as we can not adapt anything once it is changed.

Excellent learning curve

I am currently working for Lufthansa I was 2 years on the 10th Feb 20 with the company we get calls from customers globally to book their flight, make changes on the booking e.g. name correction,add pets,adding specials meals, adding extra bags,adding sport equipment ,wheelchair services,medical equipment and etc. We also do booking cancellations and booking reservations

Pros: 90%discounts benefits globally
Cons: No weekend offs

Great place to gain experience

A great place to learn patience and gain experience working with an international customer base. Every call the is different. The turnaround time for customer relations needs a lot of work. It's gear having colleagues and customers from all over the world. It would be great if the flight benefit actually felt like a benefit. The salary doesn't really allow much international travel, even with the amazing discounts.
