Would like more business orientated environment.

I see more than 10 employees a day. This are employees with minor ailments and those who come for routine medical examination. I have a very close relationship with workers as I see them everyday whenever they have health problems. I'm running a clinic in a shift alone. Helping workers with their health problems is what I enjoy most. When I have emergency situation is challenging as I'm alone and I need to coordinate everything alone to make sure that the employee is helped properly.

Pros: Salary is good motivating
Cons: No personal growth

I need to be earning at least R60000-80000 a month

it involves managing and hands on type of work. It also involve researching information on Journals and Internet. The most challenging aspect is the actual testwork where the parameters needs to be consistent

HR at the Mines

I have been working at Lonmin for over 6 years, started are as Clerk:Training, moved to being Administrator:Time Management, and got promoted to being HR:Administrator. I have gained vast knowledge over the years, in recruitment and selection, talent management, employee relations and training. I had a chance of being based at a Shaft, and thats where the real job begins, it can be nice and challenging on the other hand. An Hr at a shaft is more like a service agent, you get to provide feedback on everything and give service to the employee, even though some may not be satisfied. Its good to keep your head above, no matter how difficult it my be. Patience and understanding is key, cause without these, as a women in a male dominated industry you may not survive. The early mornings are a drag, been at this for the past 6 years and am not getting used to it at all.

Pros: Perfectionist
Cons: Level headed
