The opportunity
High paced sales and marketing environment. Seeing customers daily and meeting daily sales targets. Customer displays are checked daily to ensure our product were all in working condition. Supporting sales teams with whatever they required to bring in new customers. My staff really enjoy working under me and co-workers enjoy working with me as I treated everyone with the same respect. All relationships were strong. I have learnt that manufacturing locally is one of the most important things for our country to stay strong and provide local jobs. I enjoy being passionate about all our local brands. Was ensuring that we kept the OPEX low and ROI high while reaching all sales targets. Staff turn around was always challenging as well, as some people tend to change jobs quickly or also get taken by other internal divisions. Working in the manufacturing industry is fun and really opens your mind to a world of ideas and opportunities. Open communication between all departments were one of the most important values

UkI worked as a storeman my duty was to pick orders using a scanner driving a forklift 2 different forklifts inventory a leader as well as doing stock take an housing keeping 5s champion relationship is a good thing especially was you all want to achieve the same goals a learn to be a goal driven person and I really enjoy my work becouse it came with challenges every day the most challenging aspects that will be have less team members to work with but you have to delegates challenging situation is good for you mind its a test that you should pass with no successive stress easy when you know your responsibility at work
Pros: I started work at assembly work my way up to a receiver a forklift driver I ended up been a inventory clerk doing capturing of invoices that was a long work for me
Cons: Long working hours will 14 hours when you've been asked to work so to make your customers happy its important we all just get to it with no problem until this pandemic strikes so we all lost our jobs

Good learning curve in the corporate enviroment
Through application of knowledge, experience and natural ability, I am readily able to promote and protect organisational interests through regular monitoring and improvement of existing logistical systems / enhancement of process efficiencies. I am a skilled leader and people person, able to develop collaborative alliances at all levels of the organisation, I embrace challenges and give precedence to high quality in all operations. Including dedicated investment to the development of staff; setting, implementing and maintaining standards of performance suitable to the achievement of organisational vision.

along very well with my co-workers as I tsee them as my brothers lve learn that KAIZEN(change)is very important and 5S The challenges occurs when the is a lot of jobs and limited number of machines because uyou and up working under pressure

I have a good relationship with my fellow colleagues and always try to understand each individual
I work well in a team and as an individual. I am an outspoken person and at the office I always try to bring the fun. I have learnt how to manage time and to prioritize my work in priorities. I do what I am supposed to and exceed expectations at times.

Good working environment
Ii work as a storeman, i have been working in the company for the last 3 years, i have learnt how to pick, pack, assembly as well as to do stocktake on the year end of the company, the relationship between the team leader and the team is quite excellent because we are allowed to work in different ways so we can easily learn more about the skills and experience of the business and the department. And develop our skills knowledge.

The company is general a good workplace to start a career.
I work in a team environment where I supply different departments with material from stores. I work a minimum of 40 hrs a week plus overtime. While working Lixil Africa, I have learnt the significance of communication between myself and my team. Another lesson learnt is to treat the departments I supply as my customers.
Pros: There is a great deal of employee investment and training
Cons: Very manual processes that are outdated.
