Excellent learning curve on the IT industry

installation of computer softwares, hardwares and network cables .we work as a team an tickle clients problems in a team so that we can cover the deadlines. having to install network cabinets and configure them can sometimes be a problem but we are getting there. i enjoy troubleshooting computers faults and resolving them.terminating of network points and installing them is what ive learnt

Pros: i got the opportunity to attend a short course of MOLEX cabling and got the certificate
Cons: if we are working out of the office we have to finish the job before dead line meaning sometimes we have to work during the night

A learning experience

LivityICT is a small IT company based in Mafikeng, It is more focused on selling and servicing IT products- like printers,laptops, computer cartridges etc.. I was employed as an intern in communications and marketing ; which basically meant that I had to advertise; promote and sell products.It was a learning curve because for the first time in many years - I had an opportunity to practically do the work that I studied for; and worked in an environment that I was being mentored; I had a chance to learn from my mistakes and know exactly what’s being expected of me in a working environment. I experienced a lot of great teamwork and learned a lot from the IT industry; as there were terms that I was not familiar with , that I now understand better.

Pros: Great opportunity for getting a permanent job
