Very Interesting industry to work in, just expect to be micro managed

Co-workers are very nice, family feel. I enjoy the creativeness the products offer. I've learnt a lot in the industry, came to know myself in what I like and dislike. The most challenging is all the reports(more than normal)and the micro managing that goes on. Trust is a big thing for me. Managers should lead not manage. Very open and interactive, communication a big thing in the Company.

My work day

The best learning curve for an upcoming manager. It is fast moving and exciting working here. Day to day overseeing of truck being loaded, Cycle count control, Returns control. My main duties are however securing the smooth operations of picking, invoicing and packing of orders. I do admin too, any management position comes with paper work having to be kept up to date and signed. I do the checking of Forklifts and Bendis with the operators every morning. We have shifts, which I am currently on. 06h00 - 14h00 and 14h00 - 22h00, alternating on a weekly basis. Liaising with the Sales department and customers on order delivery and customer service maintenance. I am in contact with many client and sales reps on a daily basis, planning to get everything out and keeping the customer happy. I am involved with route planning daily, assisting the dispatch supervisor. My duties here prepared me for the next step of becoming a manager. I am ready as can be

1)A tyipical day when we have no ready material for working eg paper,inks 2)The relationship with my co worker was excellent. 3)That company has taught me a lots of things eg. Working in consumable stores,warehouse,machine room,working with recuisition,fining department. 4)what i have enjoyed the most...my anual bonus. 5)When you are ran out of inks or paper in a run and producing the spoiled job.

Good worker that does more than one duty

I work as a consumable store clerk , and a inks clerk. I assist all around the department when required. I am a very hard worker who never backs down from a challenge.i work well under pressure and give my all towards my job.

Pros: no opportunity for improvment
Cons: treated unfairly at times
