Its been good learning from local driver to a long distance driver

I love the job that I'm doing.long distance hauling and to get to travel through the republic of dsouth Africa.I'm an easy going person and the fact that I can speak 3 languages makes communication very easy.I've learnt to always be on time at the customer.challenges is the long hours spent on the road specially nights.

Pros: Being a long distance driver has being enjoyable

Excellent

Morning Duty: Update on where all the vehicles are via our Live tracking, phone the drivers and make sure they don't have any problems. Receive new orders from our client where we insert them to the TMS system and start planning the next loading plan. In between where we maintain our vehicles and make sure they look good and run good. Make sure all the deliveries are on time so that the client is happy. Sending out daily reports and keeping everyone up to date with vehicle locations and ETA's for loading.

Pros: Great for learning on managing skills. Learning the importance of being on time.
Cons: Shift work, very long hours.

Its been good working at lieben.getting to know all the places and meeting new drivers creating a friendly environment.I'm enjoying driving from province to province.the staff is easy going and nice to work with.
