ECM Sales Support and Strategic Initiative is a dynamic environment that entails working long hours and always being ready to provide support to our sales stakeholders. This job requires an individual to build good working relationships with all stakeholders and to maintain these relationships, since one never knows when they might require the stakeholders to go an extra mile in order to ensure that ECM Sales Support and Strategic Initiative adds value to the value chain. I have learned the importance of breathing before responding to an email, and that personal touch always gets better results than any other medium of communication. What I enjoy the most is that the best is still being defined, and this provides an opportunity for a person to really contribute. And what has been challenging is the priority given to the emerging market business.

Working experience

I have worked in the position of Assistant Group Secretary looking after the Asset Management Group of Companies (STANLIB) as well as the Liberty Property Portfolio, including the newly listed Corporate Real estate investment trust,Liberty Two Degrees Limited. I also provide governance and secretarial services for a number of subsidiaries within Liberty, including standing in for the Group Secretary of Liberty for the Liberty Holdings Limited listed entity.

Pros: excellent development and learning organisation
Cons: work life imbalance with little or no balance

Excellent learning curve

It is great work in this company. Yes there are challenges just like any other job, but it is wobderfull to face and overcome them together with my colleagues.

An external Experienced CPO will add value to supply chain

Diverse organization , lacking of mature fully established procurement structure. Executive support and an experienced CPO is essential to a successful Supply Chain structure. I enjoy the EVP Lacking of group executive support and understanding of procurement is a challenge.
