Quite a learning curb.

Atypical work day for me at Libby construction begins and ends with challenges. FROM sorting out staff complaints to making sure that all my departments are effective in their daily tasks. My relationship with co-workers is strictly professional as I am a firm believer that familiarity breeds contempt and also because I handle all of the disciplinaries at my company I try not to get too involved or friendly with staff. I have learnt quite alot over the years, mostly about myself, what my strengths and weaknesses are. What I enjoy most is seeing the company succeed as this benefits us as the staff. The most challenging aspect of my job would have to be the disciplinary hearings and needing to be always remain objective and not allowing emotion to overuse facts and company protocol.

Pros: Gained alot of experience
Cons: My worth at the company was never appreciated

This would be an excellent learning curve for me , and expose me to a more professionel inviroment

my typical work day starts at seven , whereby i have a general meeting with the technitions regarding their previous days work, they must give me updates on installations completed and the problems that accured that previous day, whereby we look at the solutions on overcoming that problems and completing the installation, that is till 9 and then i issue out the days orders to them . after seeing to the techs i then do my admin work and take telephonic qeuries from customers and see to it that the problems are solved. this i do till five in the afternoon

Pros: this would be a great oppertunity for me to move forward
Cons: i dont mind working long hours seeing that i am currently living alone and my children are married and out of the house

No learning experience

The company does not support the employees with the material they need to get the job done. I enjoyed working with my colleagues. The vehicles that we drive is un safe. We dont get paid overtime if we work overtime My colleagues ar3 all hard working guys. Most of them is unhappy at the company. We dont like the way we are being treated at the company.

Pros: No opportunity for growth
Cons: Only work long hours if needed

Something different

s a temp at reception and within a few months I was moved to the account department (data capturing). Pros: The company is situated in a great location...15-20min from my child's school
Cons: No bonus at year-end

Work experience

One of the goals I would like to achieve one day is to become a naval officer in the South African Navy because I would love to serve this beautiful country, another one of my goals is to complete my academic career with the best possible marks that is achievable and even obtain my PhD one day.I am very active person as I like to partake in many recreational sports and activities such as soccer and rugby; I have partake in many athletic competitions that my high school hosted such as interschool and interhouse competitions. I occasionally enjoy a leisurely run on a nice peaceful summer evening.

Cons: no growth
