Lemay Construction Reviews

Learning curve

have worked on the NEC 3 and JBCC standard forms of contract; I have worked on 7 successfully completed projects of which 3 of them with a combined value of around R 180 million I have completed successfully in the last 18 months. Daily routine includes the following: Professional and subcontractor meetings, tendering assistance and adjudication, measurements, monthly valuations, cost reports, plant recon, material recon, subcontractor appointments including background checks, creating and filing contractual paper trail, managing subcontractor contracts

Pros: Great growth opportunities
Cons: long hours

Best

It is a bit hectic working with a human being, but it's quite interesting and giving more experience on how to deal with different people. Some happen to have attitude towards you even after work, based on the full compliance you might have given to them at work. What I enjoy the most is when Safety is complied with by both staff and management.

Pros: Opportunity
Cons: 9 hours

Excellent learning curve

I'm a safety officer who have been in the field for 3-4 years who's willing to learn new in different industries. I'm young and driven. I love learning from the ground not only safety related but I make sure I'm all over learning as much as I can in the field

Pros: Great opportunity and a learning experience curve
Cons: Working on miles overtime as a team
